We had (a shop bought) butter chicken and we also had a veg korma that I made.
The child still reacts like it's a vindaloo with extra chillies on top and needs a gallon of milk.

Morning all. Resident 8vil. That bit where that thing happens to your hand. I mean a lot of things happen to your hands but there is one in particular that stands out. Bit odd. Seems a touch improbable, unlike the wherewolves and vampire bug ladies which are ripped straight from the post-COVID headlines. (No spoilers please Tuffers) Pfft. Of course it's probable. Now, being armed to the teeth but unable to open that chest drawer without a lockpick, that might raise an eyebrow. That is until you look into it, those Romanians sure know how to secure a bureau. It is based on true events afterall.

Hello
Our neighbours have begun to gift us food. It’s a nice thing but I’m not sure how to respond. Last week they brought us some delicious pies. I returned the plate two days later, with a ‘thank you’ gift of chocolate. Today they have proffered some more food. But it was chicken based and we are both vegetarian... I did eat the pies thinking some weren’t vegetarian …
I’m not sure how to respond to gifts of food. Is it because our (intentionally) re-wilded garden and (un-intentionally) destroyed gate has given an impression of desolation?

What's the difference between a re-wilded garden and someone who can't be arsed to mow the lawn?

What's the difference between a re-wilded garden and someone who can't be arsed to mow the lawn? We don’t have a lawn. But if we did, I wouldn’t mow it. I mean - why would you? We have a paved yard, into which I am welcoming the wild foliage.

lazybonesWe let the front garden go wild. Good for the birds and the bees (and other assorted insects). But the back garden.. that must be mown. It is an area for play.
