Things I learned this morning:
Getting angry at a plumber when they tell you that they’re doing you a favour coming in to fix a leaking tap they broke in the first place won’t make them come back in to fix it. Am now having to go through the house builders, whilst also trying to find out the name of the plumbers so I can go burn it down.

Enroute to work. New work laptop day. Though I've discovered I'm not getting a desktop as well - just a dock. Which kinda fucks up me remoting to my desktop to get into other things.
Games. No.
TV. The pm was watching motherland. Was amusing enough.
The trains are back to normal so I'm on a fast train. Huzzah.

We had the electrician round to install two new smoke alarms. We said he would arrive at 8.30 and he did, right on the dot. He was then gone in half an hour. Job done. I think the key thing with tradesman is to not get angry with them before they arrive.

Morning!
PM is making a valiant attempt to go cold turkey on the fags. 24 hours in, and no bad murders yet. Eggshells and tip-toes may be in order for the next few days.
TV - The Pact.
Games - Valheim… 2nd boss is down! Quite the battle, not helped by the unwelcome arrival of a troll mid-way through. Despite trying to tempt the troll into the bossfight so that The Elder could take him down, they seemed to be on friendly terms and ganged up on me. Bloody forest alliance types! Had to take time out and lure the troll away in the end for a one-on-one mini battle before I could complete the job. I now have the keys to the Swamp biome, and can hopefully enter the iron age once I've set up a suitable camp and portals etc. The saga continues...

Plumber chat. We had them in the other day to fix a leak under the bath which they already 'fixed' 6 weeks ago, but turned out not to be fixed. It transpired that not only do I have to pay twice for ostensibly the same job, but also that there is a new leak in a different place which I can't help thinking was caused by whatever the guy did to fix the first leak. It's a hell of a business model.

Morning Plum lovers!
Watched a footy game last night. Fans back in the ground makes games better. I'd stopped watching most matches, but it's all good again now with an atmosphere* from the fans. Then I watched some ex footballers arguing about which of "Gareth's Lions" should be selected to take part in our inevitable glory when football comes home this summer.
Jims, only time for a quick go on RE8. It's still the best. And getting better. No spoilers, but a massive thing, let's call it 'Thingy' kept stalking, chasing and then murderising me. Alot. Eventually I got into a place to obtain a thing that Thingy didn't like up it. 💪
*grown men swearing and gesticulating angrily at the poor chap with the whistle

I watched Brooklyn 99 last night, it's the series where Jake and Amy are trying for a kid (and the actress playing Amy has gotten faaaaaaaaat).
I also played some PUBG with random squads and we nearly won twice, but it wasn't to be.
I am also drinking coffee described as "Strength Factor 12" so I expect to be off my tits soon.
