Lazy! Tell me about custom games in pubg? Is it still battle royale but with mates? Are there bots? In theory could we have a box death island? Obviously not cross play as we don't want baby winning. The minimum on PC I think is 5. Not sure about console. And cross play is not an option in PUBG I am afraid. |

Yeah - that is it. I thought there used to be a minimum number of players - 8, maybe 16, but I looked yesterday and that didn't seem to be there. We tried with three and it didn't work. When the fourth person joined - it did. It did work. I would definitely do it again. |

So stealth lockdowns are now a thing? I thought the magic new level 4 restrictions was a bit of bad planning for the three tier system. Only just allowed to book jabs from last saturday, I guess it was everyone trying to sort things that meant there seems nowhere sensible, at least its near a brewery so I can pick up supplies on the way home to hide any side effects.
No one with a cough or runny nose is allowed on site even if negative for covid. Now how long to develop a smokers cough?

I have discovered a new streaming application for our televison: Pluto TV.
It is an Aladdin's Cave of TV tut. At lunchtime today there was a documentary about killer chimps, there was Popeye, there was a programme about conspiracy theories (the true ones!) I only got a few channels in, though, before I was held by a film, starring Kirk Douglas, about the modern day USS Nimitz being sucked through a timewarp back to the Battle of Pearl Harbour.

I have just checked t'interwebz for any solutions to my Valheim issue, and seems there was a 3rd option that I missed.
Apparently if I had destroyed my bed, it would have also removed the spawn point, so I would then have been able to commit suicide by fire or drowning, and instead of respawning on the Island-of-the-stupid, I would instead have respawned at my original start point.... ie not far from my main base.
I have filed this nugget under 'Useful Stuff To Know'.

Mass Effect update. Virmire completed, solved my Kaiden/femshep issue.
Think I am nearing the end of Mass Effect. Story and world building is brilliant but do prefer the gameplay of 2 and 3.

TVblog: Grand Designs. Then the first episode of The Great British Photography Challenge on BBC Four. Though the presenter annoyed me at first, he clearly knew his onions. I also watched TGBPC on BBC4, I liked it. He is correct though, the presenter is like a big cuddly teddybear with a 'I will fuck you up bad' tattoo on his forehead.
I also watched some of the David Bailey program afterwards. Legend.
