I barely use pens now. Mostly email. One or two typed letters a week are signed. Very occasionally I hand write a compliments slip.
It's probably for the best as my writing is appalling.

I played PUBG a little bit last night. We did pretty badly. At one point my two teammates insisted on using an 'emergency pickup' to get to the centre of the safe zone extremely early on. We had a car. I felt pretty sure we should use that to skirt the safe zone and use the pickup if in an emergency.
We used the pickup. I was killed on landing. I found myself watching and wishing the same people would kill my teammates and prove me right. A bad business. I think a horrible gloating quality crept into my laugh at the end.

I use a Uni Ball Air, made in Japan by the Mitsubishi Pencil Company. I am rocking the Uni-ball 'Eye' (Fine), also by Mitsubishi Pencil Company.
A great bunch of pencil-pushers.

Fantasy Footy chat, I seem to have wasted a bunch of points by having players on the bench? I did try to sub them into the team a couple of times but it didnt want to let me. And what use is auto sub if it doesnt sub on the players with the points? The whole situation is a massive injustice. Glad to hear Chumbles is doing ok, hope they didnt remove the part of the brain that he uses for Neptunes Pride.

I've played my wildcard to clear out the dead wood. Fully expect all those players to score hattricks now (except the Scottish ones).

A heady mix of papermate "inkjoy" coloured pens and Some zebra gel black ones.
Also used mitsubishi's - but not since the late 90s/early noughties.

My PUBG team mates aren't answering my texts.
I've a horrible feeling this is what happened with Supersmashin and HenryPootle last time we played Star Trek Bridge Crew.
I am the worst ...

I'm using the 'broad' for added gravitas.

OTTM: My internet went off for 5 minutes and then came back on. This did not stop me hunting down the BT engineer and asking him what what the flip he was doing. All good now though.
(He's going to unplug it just before he leaves)

What about note taking in meetings? Do you have a handwritten daily task list, an ongoing overall one you update with scribbles as the day goes on? What if you need to take notes during a telephone call? To jot down a telephone number or policy number? Any ad hoc calculations you need to perform? How can you barely use pens?!?

I've also been playing with some footy transfers. Not sure I understand the auto-sub and captaincy changes fully. It may all go 'orribly wrong.

I make brief notes on word or Excel depending if I need to. Everything is going on the pc anyway so it might as well go direct. I'll tidy up any notes if necessary afterwards. I try to discourage people from phoning or demanding meetings. Nothing to do with covid. I just don't like people. Ad hoc calculations are generally done on Excel. I do have a calculator. I'm generally dealing with more numbers than it makes sense to add up on paper. I don't have policies, so I don't number them. I don't have a daily task list. I occasionally create a list of things to do if I need to. Usually on the pc.

I would usually use pens when ... away from home ... Away from work ...
I have a number of pens in a satchel. But the sharp ends of the pens have made holes in the corner of the satchel that have coalesced into a big hole, and now the pens fall out.

I did have a nice set of coloured highlighters as well. The full Staedtler range. Very good for auditing. But you don't write with them. People at work used to laugh at my colouring pens, but also borrowed them a lot.

I must have had 100s of pens over the years but if I had to pick a favourite it would probably be pen15, feels great in the hand and the ink never runs out.

Pens are just like friends. If they don’t work, you shake them. If they still don’t work, you throw them away!
