A stopped clock is correct twice* a day. *Unless it is a 24 hour clock then it's only once. <edit>This was a profound statement when I was young, simpler times.

Well England were poor. There was no meaningful delivery to Kane and we have too many similar players on the field with Sterling, Mount, Foden and then Grealish and they failed to gel.
Shaw offered little and I think we missed Trippier too.
May have been Scotland's best chance of a win.

Pretty pleased with that tbh. Wee Robbo and Wee Billy were ace, Big Scotty not far behind. Even Big Dykesy and For Fucks Sake O'Donnell held their own.

Graeme Souness is so angry. I can't work out why.

Graeme Souness is so angry. I can't work out why. Is he more or less angry than Keane?

Kane looked like a 30yr old Rooney towards the end of his career. Bit odd.

I thought Scotland were good. And Graeme Souness is upset because people are saying the result was because England were bad.

Kane hasn't looked good* the last 2 games, shame I have him in my FF team. *and not just because he didn't get the ball, he seems lethargic. <edit>I'm talking about Harry Kane if people were confused and/or I misunderstood Tuffers.

Graeme Souness has some bellendish qualities but I’d take his punditting over that of Alan Shearer, Gary Neville or Jamie Carragher.

Harry Kane has been suffering under the psychological warfare of Jose Mourinho. On the surface he came out unscathed but at a deep level there were blocks pulled out, from the Jenga tower of his psyche.

Harold Kane is under a lot of pressure, as he knows there is no plan B in his position. It must be a heavy burden to carry.

Yes, lethargic. Probably had one of those "vaccines". His mind is now in Beijing. Skullduggery is afoot. Trying to nobble Sir Harold The Great.

I'm okay with the result. I got some much needed sleep in the second half.

Harry Kane would play better if he wasn't playing PUBG all the time.
BabyF has the evidence.

I thought Scotland were well organised, created a few chances. Let England look a bit crap.
A draw was probably fair, but Scotland might have sneaked it. I'd rate their chances v Croatia. Don't go mad, mark up. Wait for the chances. Che has to play.

England
Sven Gareth Capello-Southgate dropped a clanger. Maybe even a soup dragon. Is Kane just our of sorts or is the team deliberately set up to negate him? I'd guess out of sorts.
So given game 3 is a free ride it's time to see if DCL is as bad. Also give Sancho a go and Bellingham. They've actually had good seasons. Not spent most of the last 6 months drying out.
If England play like that against one of the stronger teams we'll be out on our arses before you can say bring on the greaser to pass it to a non-player.
Four stars recommended.
