The answer is to not put your private rubbish on the internet so it can be clearly linked to you..
If you stick everything up there including singing along to dodgy songs your poor judgements are there for everyone to see.
Potentially for ever.
On some sites (not here) people seem to post incredibly naively as if they don't realise a quick Google will how any potential employer how appalling you are.

Yes, the G is guilty of playing the game with the rules set by the right. It's all grist to Toby Young's nefarious mill. There are barely any clear examples of even cancelling speakers at universities, which is supposed to be the heart of it. I'm not so sure the right set the rules as such. The left have been using it for years and it's developed more through social media. The creator of Washington Heights was called out recently, unsure it was the right doing this. The problem (certainly from the US political podcasts I listen to) is that this is being used between factions on the left who are going after each other. Appreciate the US is a different beast, but what develops there often tracks across. |

People broadly aligned with 'the left' do seem to tear each other apart more than people on 'the right'.
I swear The Guardian had more to do with the shaming and smearing of Jeremy Corbyn than any right wing paper did.
That's how it seemed to me ...

A man came to fix the gate yesterday. He measured it and took photos then went away and came back. He said it wasn't possible to find a gate to fit, so a carpenter would have to come and build us a new one. He did hammer some plywood across the old gate. I'm not sure it looks better. It might actually look worse, but it's progress of a sort ...

It sounds like Brighton has fallen to Neptune without a shot being fired. Disappointing. I was hoping that perhaps it had been swept out to sea by an overngiht storm. An enormous bight created by transferring Sussex Sous Mer to France. The south coast would now begin at Catford. Wouldn’t be the first time Brighton had been lashed by the sea. The Great Channel Storm of 1703, for instance. A sorry business. |
