Jehova's made his move. He's played his hand. He's called his closest followers to him and has confiscated my Satan book.
Still not here.

They've clearly flown away to Europe to piss somebody else off.

My girlfriend / pm just came in and said 'Can you hear that singing?' And I said 'It's Marvin Gaye' (because I was listening to Marvin Gaye), then she said 'No it was like a kind of "chanty" singing.' I turned off Marvin Gaye and had a listen, but I could not hear this singing. Then it happened again. What could it be? Souls ascending to Jehova's Palace? Maybe a UFO cult heralding the new Pentagon report? But not so ... It just sounds like some local rugby lads. But they could almost be down the corridor.
Odd ... There's a new party flat.

I thought it was 'Jehovah', with an haitch.

I thought it was 'Jehovah', with an haitch. Should be YHWH without any vowels.

I bought some Skittles at lunchtime. They were completely white and I wondered whether I would be able to taste which flavours were which.
The front of the bag said 'In Pride week no other rainbow matters'.
I didn't really think too much about this but I've since learned (educated myself) about Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition.
My head's spinning.

I'm going for an afternoon nap. Work can wait. Try not to break anything whilst I'm gone.

I thought it was 'Jehovah', with an haitch. Should be YHWH without any vowels. FYI (for some reason) #whyreligchat I have also seen it written YHVH These four letters are usually JHWH in German, French and Dutch, and either YHWH, YHVH, JHWH or JHVH in English. In some English language Bibles, it is written in all capital letters as "LORD," as in Jewish tradition. Others, such as the Jerusalem Bible use "Yahweh". simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/YHWH#:~:text=These%20four%20letters%20are%20usually,Jerusalem%20Bible%20use%20%22Yahweh%22. I deeply apologise for my post. (no I don't - much).

It's a tetragrammaton, I know that.
For those of you without the internet, I suggest you click on Kane's link.

Morning all. TVblog: B5, The Fall of Centauri Prime. Poor Londo. Filmblog: finished The Two Towers. I expect we’ll start Return of the King this evening, to be watched over two or three evenings. Amigablog: the weather turned yesterday. I was hoping to sun-bleach one of my A500s, but the case only spent five hours outside - Barry made a difference. Watched the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring with the children, the older two enjoyed it. It has led me to buy another set of LOTR books though. Hardback version of the first version I read.

Ooof. None of my WD drives connect to the internet. I used to have a WD live, but I have replaced it a while ago. My WD drive was ok at lunchtime.

Could someone please ask Amipal why he would want to sun bleach an Amiga case, and then make sure you don't tell me the answer, as I don't want to know.
OTTM: My WD NAS hasn't been connected to the internet, or used, in some time. My other NAS is not WD.

Amipal there getting in on some DD action. Hot. For the write stage, yes. Disk Utility happily created an image for me, but wouldn’t write it back as it’s not a Mac-formatted disk.

My head's spinning. You can see how this conversation went down in the Skittles' boardroom. Some cheeky sod providing the estimated cost savings for sacking off putting the colour in the sweets with the excuse it's Pride week.

What about actual rainbows? Do they not matter? Seems a bit off.

OK, I did want to know.
It's to make them white again if they've yellowed with age.
Edit: the Amigas, not the skittles or the rainbows.

There is something appealing about these Skittles though. They're like ghost Skittles. Or - you expect them to taste like mint, but then they're an explosion of sweet fruity flavour.
