I watched the film Limitless again last night. I hope someone invents NZT in real life, could really do with that extra brain accessibility right now. This world definitely doesn’t need a Tuffers with a hundred percent brain power. |

Lots of unsold tickets for Italy v Spain tonight.
It's quite tempting, but I don't want to spend €195 minimum plus travel for a game I'm not that interested in.
Also getting home from Wembley is a pain in the arse.

Morning! I'm just overjoyed that Chumbles is back. This morning Jeff's minion delivered a fresh packet of pretty, colourful face masks that I bought as soon as BoJob announced that he doesn't care anymore and it's now down to everyone's personal (ir)responsibility. I need those to maintain my status as international woman of mystery. Like everyone else I have thoughts on the government putting all its eggs into the vaccination basket, but they are all kinds of expected and boring. The one thing I worry about is that with all restrictions lifted despite a rise in cases, will I ever be able to see my mother and brother again? I may be able to prove that I'm doubly vaxxed, but how many countries are going to lift their travel restrictions on this plague island if case numbers are climbing even higher? I've heard of splendid isolation before but this is maybe a bit much.* Weather: blustery Games: no, apart from my daily dose of AC:NH, although as usual on Sunday night I spectated a LP of Blast Corps, played on an original N64 to the bitter rage quit end. That game has not aged well but is still fun to play. I know it was part of the Rare Replay collection, but Microsoft should really do more with it. Lunch: Leftover hotdogs from last night. The last days I've been skipping lunch, but it's the wurst. Butterblog: My usual choice is Lurpak Lighter Slightly Salted Spreadable, because it's lighter, slightly salted, and spreadable. However, last time I did my shopping with Ocado there was no Lurpak at all available. Ikke noget. Probably a case of the Hariwoes. Maybe to prevent the Danes from recruiting fifth columnists for the match today. So I got a tub of Country Life because it was the only butter that ticked 2 out of 3 boxes and they've also got an English Heritage promotion. Back in the caveman times, I assume they had accents like we do now, but would those accents sound the same as accents do now because we probably inflect words in the same way and default to the same sounds through efficiency. So have the same accents come and gone through the ages or are those accents gone forever and never to be heard ever again.
Did some cavemen sound American and some sound Geordie?
