Check your chance of surviving the great flood here.
Looks like we're all moving to Scotland.

Timothy Spall had the right idea.
I don't want to bang on about this idea of a Dutch barge, but ... I'm going to anyway. He had (has?) ... a Dutch barge, converted for sea-faring activity.
I'm imagining Spall, wearing a shark-skin jerkin, standing on the prow, spear in hand.

Blimes. Newhaven and Lancing are in deep Scheiße. Oh well… I’m a bit further west from Newhaven, equidistant between it and Brighton, and think it looks okay… but the sea defences will need some bolstering to prevent the early erosion of the chalk cliffs.

Are you aware of the French Gallwasp?

Looks like we're all moving to Scotland. Woah, woah, woah! Easy now. It will be like the end of the film 'The Day After Tomorrow', except we're moving North. You guys will welcome us in like long lost brothers. Hugs all round. (And you get to see Doris grovel at the feet of wee Nicky Krankie)

Hello, There are builders doing some work on the house behind ours. They are pwopah geezahs, and one of them is very loud. I am on a work call and all I can hear is him shouting about all the "fahkin buuurds he's been smashin"

Lazybones. Are you aware of the French Gallwasp? I am not. I try and keep my awareness of the insect world to a minimum to be honest. I don't mind insects in practice, but in theory - the way they conduct themselves. No-one would choose that world.

And there's no driver at the wheel ...
And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides ...

Check your chance of surviving the great flood here. Whist it's interesting, this is in effect little more than a map highlighting low-lying coastal areas. It shows areas that could be temporarily storm-flooded or permanently lost to the sea between now and 2050, based on a projection of sea-level rise and increased storms. Crucially, it doesn't take into account existing or planned flood defences, including the Thames barrier. In reality, flooding that widespread in London is very unlikely because of the protection afforded by the Thames barrier. I'm not saying that climate change isn't bad, or that we shouldn't get round to doing something about that, just that the map has its limitations that need to be understood for it to be a useful map.

Both Westfields will be underwater. What a world. At least that should mean the Apple stores are a bit less crowded. Swaffham is safe as chips. Invest now in a dry future in Swaffham!
Perhaps a metaphor for...

So by 2050 I can expect to be able to sell my house as having a sea view. Bonus.
My mum's cottage at Wells will be underwater. I could warn her, but as she'd be nearly 120 by then she'd probably tell me to stop looking at daft stuff on t'internet.

I think Danky needs a big BDT to cure his moribund-itis.
We need our daily reports of Upper echelon bananas, anecdotes about Wide Andy's coke habit, Long Barry's scrapes, Rod Hull intake reports and coffee flinging tomfoolery.

I'm out of the shower, however, I had had a struggle putting a clean pair of trousers on.
Did Lazybones put a Hex on my pants? I mean, he reads all those weird books. So, in essence, I dunno.
