I've deleted Jeff's app from my phone. I'm going to browse some of the available titles on monopolies and capitalism, at www.waterstones.com.

Both Westfields will be underwater. What a world. At least that should mean the Apple stores are a bit less crowded. Swaffham is safe as chips. Invest now in a dry future in Swaffham! ... Bluewater Shopping Centre will certainly be much more appropriately named Underwater Shopping Centre; it might even be a prettier place. But I won't be going - I lived along the North Kent Shithole Metro on various loops for a couple of years the North Kent Line (or Woolwich Line) and the Bexleyheath Line (most people called it the Sidcup Line). (Erith, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Belvedere)... I hated them all except Sidcup which I could tolerate... and Abbey Wood / Thamesmead where all the ground floor flats were unoccupied and the stairwells stink of urine, were the absolute pits. Roll on 2050

I'm out of the shower, however, I had had a struggle putting a clean pair of trousers on. Did Lazybones put a Hex on my pants? I mean, he reads all those weird books. So, in essence, I dunno.

The essential problem with BDT I have today is that I have no D. Well I have some beer but it’s foul stuff, who drinks that?
It’s been a while since I heard anything about Wide Andy or his proxies. I wonder if he is an anti lockdown lunatic. By that I mean I wonder if he is anti lockdown.

Future generations will wonder at exotic tales of Hull in the same way that we think in awe about Atlantis. What was this lost civilization like? Why did it come to an end? Were the inhabitants punished by the gods for their heretical telephone system?

I've just purchased three books on the Waterstones app. I decided to use a gift card I was gifted at Christmas for doing ok in a work quiz.
The purchase was £33.93 and the value of the gift card was £20. I decide to try it anyway.
It worked!
But ... How will Waterstones make their £13.93 back?

Forgot it was bdt, will investigate the d on the way home. That doesn't sound right. Our magical online systems aren't able to open online excel type thing, pressing refresh counts as work?

If you want to use a less diabolical online book shop, hive.co.uk are cheap, have free delivery, and pay their taxes. They also give some profits to local bookshops. Bookshop.org are also good but a bit pricier

Bookshop.org's not bad. I'm going with Waterstones today because they've got an app, they accept my Christmas gift card and ... They're the only UK book chain that even comes close to rivalling Amazon for book sales. Without them Amazon would pretty much monopolise the UK market. This is my understanding.

Like Tuffers I stayed up late playing games, but I packed it in at 2 a.m. There's no way that I will finish Xenoblade Chronicles before my copy of Skyward Sword arrives tomorrow, but I'm still making an effort and working my way through the 531,000 side quests.
In the morning I had another scam phone call, the first time in a long time with an actual human being at the other end. Usually it's just a recording or a computer voice. So at least I had the pleasure to tell him to p*ss off with his scam in person. He tried to assure me that it wasn't a scam. Yeah, because BT Openreach always phones Virgin Media customers from a mobile phone number. Right.
Lunch: Chicken katsu with tempura rice, Asahi Super Dry for BDT.

I ate some spaghetti for lunch. It was nice. I imagined it might have been the kind of thing Rick Stein would enjoy if he was stopping off at Puglian worker's cafe, maybe.
I'm being too modest. It was delicious.

I've strayed into jazz funk territory. A bad business.

They will rip out 41% of the pages before sending them out to you.

Honest to fuck the amount of folk not wearing masks on trains is giving me the fear. You can ride a bike but you can't wear a mask? Get fucked.

What? a passive aggressive specky wee gadge tutting at you? Unfortunately not.
Just been and watched some of the Indiana Jones filming near Glasgow Central. Looks great.
