Off to the in-laws for a couple of days. They're very nice and I'll be well fed - but they don't booze much outside of Xmas. Thankfully I'm working Mon so I'll be home Sun evening.
Back to theirs Tue/Wed and work again Thurs. The PM's sister and fam are up from Engerland.
Ordered a pizza last night when I got in from work and the fucker never appeared till 21.25 which I wolfed down. I didn't have the best sleep. Blerg.

Morning all!
Yesterday was very busy. Not work-wise - party-prep-wise. I cut my hair, mowed the lawn, and power-washed the patio. I was also required to make a last-minute dash to the Co-op to get ingredients for the birthday cake my partner is making me for the friends-party tomorrow.
Such was my thirst, I also came back with many bottles of PGL. An ice-cold Peroni Nastro Azzurro hit the spot.
In the evening, one of my longest-serving mates popped over to give me my present (rum) and card. He can’t make it to the party, so really good to catch-up with him. He’s a good man, and thorough.

I went to a board game cafe / bar last night. I drank too much.
I really felt like a fat housecat. A housecat that had never been outside, placed outside the back door. I felt like I wanted to bolt under a table. What's wrong with me?
I got a bit high-spirited later on and ended up wrestling in the street like a goddam bum.

For Shenguin's birthday I got myself a nice present of Zelda loot. Still waiting for the amiibo to be delivered later this afternoon, will post a picture of the lot as soon as it arrives.
If anyone wants me, I'll be playing Skyward Sword.
(I've just remembered that today is also Frita's birthday, one of my ACNH neighbours. Is Shenguin Frita? If so, stop telling me all these stories about how you were an awkward teenager. Spoiler alert: I got you a coconut as a present because I'm cheap and I know it'll give me max friendship points.)
