Although for you to both do that, on the same forum, with the same account, and same wording, within a few seconds of each other, is a heck of a coincidence.

Fan set up ✔️ Curtains closed✔️ Loft hatch propped open✔️ Downstairs windows closed✔️ Upstairs windows and doors open✔️ Err... one is functional after mega-morphine Friday✔️ Temperature in my room is already 28c... from experience I know that opening the windows downstairs just draws hotter air in, as the patio at the back of the house is an absolute heat trap. With four layers of bandaging on my legs, hay fever and the continuing after effects of ophthalmic zoster, any other environment is untenable. How I envy you all... later I will be doing my infamous beached whale impersonation. 🐳

I've had to turn the air-con off, my trousers were icing up.

Hello, After Top of the Pops finished last night I watched a film called Sorority Row. Generic 2000's teen slasher. It was very terrible. Fortunately I fell asleep after an hour or so.

I see that the Saj, our new Health Secretary, is more positive than ever before.

Sunny out.
Back from holiday now. I miss the Sheffield tap water the most, the water in North Yorks was horrible.
I am about to press the buy button on a Weber Kettle barbecue.

Today i've been on one of those tree surfing things where you have to clip in and walk on wires 100 feet above the ground while trying not to shit yourself
Zero stars, *WOULD NOT RECOMMEND*

Hmmm. It's been a long time since my last barbecue, but years ago we ditched a round BBQ for a rectangular one as this was much better for having several trays cooking evenly at the same time. Edit: Sweet 6,666th post. All the mark of the beast and then some.

Proof that I attended Shenguin'sFrita's birthday celebration yesterday. Cool birthday hat! Last night I started Skyward Sword but didn't get far because I was fairly tired, to the point that I could have fallen asleep whilst sitting on the toilet. Like this: (Not sure what it says about me that after years I still remembered the location of the bathroom.)

Xmas dinner is almost ready! Chilled rose to drink along with it.
Made iced coffee earlier. Was decent. Never made it at home before.

Air-con boasting at its best. The second best investment I ever made. In hindsight, it was a bit of a git move to post that.
Soz.

Apologies to Sajid Javid for my earlier snide comment. I didn't realize he had tested positive. I put it down to my boiled brain. I am overheating and soon I will have to turn fan on. Which makes it cooler, but dries my eyes (princess) - 32c and still rising ... my last post for a while ...

Parasol diaries - Hosepipe was deployed about an hour ago. Lovely. Just opened a beer. Too hot still. Peru tomorrow.

I bought mine about 14 years ago, it only cost me £90. A tower system, just chuck the exhaust vent out of the window. Or..place the unit in another room and enjoy the benefits, but not directly.
