From yesterday … our idiotic PM has jumped the gun on 'easing' restrictions and the NHS is overwhelmed: BoJo's very good at ignoring or excusing the consequences of his actions. Speaking of which lazybones : If you're going to continue to be a cunt and provoke me, you will eventually succeed. Your 'jokes' often seem to me to be unfunny at best and malicious at worst. In all honesty though, can you please let me know of any moment, other than today (actually more yesterday), when I’ve been malicious? To you, or anyone else? Maybe I have. But I can’t remember. Please tell me. I wasn’t even being malicious yesterday. A part of me did want to get a rise out of you, I’ll admit, because you’d kicked off at me for some bogus issue - just because you’d got the wrong end of the stick. It was a bit hurtful, especially when all I’d done was make a throwaway joke. And to be fair you’ve done it before. I know a Chumbles bollocking is a thing here but on both accounts, with me anyway, you’re just seemed to come out windmilling wildly over the most questionable of slights. I don’t even have any malice towards you. On the contrary, before Chatterbox 2.0 I thought we got on pretty well. Anyway - I’ve taken drink so shouldn’t be posting. I know no-one wants to read all this. |

lazybones I don't know why it is, but I simply don't get your SoH. Let's leave it at that. Just stop poking the teddy bear! I am in a horrendous amount of pain atm. Bloody leg is awful ... Please god that the antibiotics come today and the nurse comes early. The antibiotics will take 4-5 days before they start to have an effect.

Kid 1 has been up all night vomiting and I got 4 hours sleep at best. I now have presentations and online meetings to do with said kid bouncing around the house and PM abandons me for some stylist appointment that obviously is too important to be cancelled.
No time for breakfast.

I am on holiday.
Not a scubar style covid flight to an amber listed country holiday.
Even after spending hours in traffic yesterday, I am still somewhere in the south of England. I'm not even entirely sure what county I'm in. One with shit Internet.

There’s a really good 2000AD deal on humble bundle at the moment, about 70ish books for under £20, including 5 Dredd case files, some Judge Anderson Psi files and lots more. Definitely worth checking out.

Then tried to watch more Olympics, but fell asleep again. Although I can see in the news *spoliers*..... we won more stuff in some events.

Could have done with more sleep, definitely, but it's all my own fault.
Last night I started watching the Olympics opening ceremony on the replay. Should have fast-forwarded through the bit at the beginning with Clare Balding. Will watch more tonight, I guess, instead of actual Olympics. At this pace I'll have finished the opening ceremony just in time for the closing ceremony without bothering about the bits in between.
Bit more Skyward Sword, where at one point I switched to button control without realising it, waving the right JoyCon at the screen in increasing desperation as Link stubbornly refused to draw his sword. Four stars.
