Fake names will just prove to Mrs Crank I didn't do it as advertised. I'll be using real folks names from my workplace. They're all quite tight with sponsor forms apparently. Thus begins the web of lies. it's a steep, yet surprisingly short path from here until every part of your life is a lie I bet Crankcaller isn't even his real name

Stick Disney Professor Cyprian Broodbank down as one of your sponsors. Classic double bluff.

I did some more Skyrim last night, cleared out a bandit camp, got my transmute spell, emptied all the ore veins and got to work, realised shortly afterwards that by never upgrading my magicka, this could take a while.

Apart from more skyrim and GTA expansions are there an good games to look out for? RDR2 seems the only one this year.
Films, the tomb raider and annihilation, netflix for JJ2, any others coming out?

The film Annihilation is quite different to the book Annihilation.
Both are good and the manner in which they changed things for the film make sense.
The film version strips away much of the Lovecraft-lite elements from the book which wouldn’t have worked on the screen and spin more towards hard sci-fi.
I too ditched the second book two thirds of the way through and never bothered with the third. The first works better as a standalone novella.

Some brilliant comments on the pre-made food article on the Other Place.
Hello all. I did indeed watch Death of Stalin last night, and did enjoy it once again.
Tonight is competition night. Open subject, so (almost) anything goes.

I'm looking forward to popping my Souls cherry. I bought DS2 a few months ago but haven't started it. Figured it makes sense to wait for the re-release of the first one.
Is there a release date for the RE2make?

Snap! Except for the transmute spell. I've only just started upgrading magicka. Every time I level up I'm thinking: 'Is there any point in upgrading anything other than health?', but extra stamina and magicka does come in useful. Just doing some online shopping, getting ready for St Patrick's Day. Got the Guinness, the whiskey and the Guinness and leek sausages. Done! Now, if I could find a way to dress my Skyrim character in green? There's enough leek and potatoes lying around in the game to make my inner Irishwoman feel at home.

There should have been a mage or wizardy chap in one of the camps, normally their robes will grant a bonus magica regen. You'll also come across rings or other bits with this as an enchantment on them. It's worth keeping them as you will be doing a lot of transmuting.

If there's one reason to upgrade magika it's for the bound weapons spell (bow and sword) early on in the game. Both give weapons which are OP for your level, they also weigh nothing. Stick on the mystic binding perk and you can dish out some decent damage.
Early on transmute-fests can be a pain, as I mentioned, keep an eye out for magika regen gear.

stamina is more beneficial in mid/late game, you'll be kitted out in decent armour so health shouldn't be too much of an issue, but stamina gives you extra carrying capacity and affects your ability to block. Though the latter is only relevant if you are going with a build which includes a shield.

one final thing - you can farm blocking levels with any encounter with a small animal (skeevers/wolves/mudcrabs). You can block away for fun, or not, and level up quite quickly. If you use a low level destruction spell in tandem then you can level that up quite quickly too.

Magnificently statesmanlike behaviour from Mr Williamson, I see. Really doing the old alma mater proud. I’ll give Scarborough VI it’s due, it’s mid-90’s output was at least consistent.
