Today I'm even more tired than usual because instead of going to bed early last night I stayed up to watch a Twitch streamer I discovered recently play BotW. I had looked at his schedule before and wasn't at all sure that the times posted there were correct, because it said that he would be streaming 0:00-3:00 a.m. Turns out this was correct as he's on the US East Coast. Since I had a medical appointment this morning I wasn't keen on staying for the whole event. And then I got sucked in and three hours in the middle of the night just flew by. It's a blind LP and these are just too much fun to watch (and play, naturally). He's only just started as well. There's another stream tonight. I need to find a way to get in some extra snooze during the day somehow because this isn't sustainable.  Lunch: chicken in flatbread with cucumber & tomato |

Games, none. Drink, not enough for a weeknight. OTTM; not a fan of the new rights setup for the olympics, I want to see the pistol lady with the witcher medallion shoot and can't find it anywhere on Iplayer.

Lunch was a belated Baxter's French Onion soup, with Marmite Flatbreads (my weight* has crept up until I am sprouting moobs again. Not my favourite body ornament)... During this I watched, amongst other things, one of MarkGFL's short, balanced and excellent Game Reviews... *I have had to cut out chocolates and now have just one mug of coffee (skimmed milk, which I detest nearly as much as the oat based 'milk')... **Ye ghods a Scottish company's soup and a Yorkshireman's video... And of course - TAX more tax stuff today - we are still on hold, half an hour and counting. I got my HMRC letter confirming my tax code for 2021/22. I expect any day now I will receive an email or letter explaining I have underpaid tax again and owe a few hundred to the tax man. |
