also thanks to whoever recommended the James Corey books, I went looking for the first and found I already had it and had read half of it, started again and now on the second.

They are a bit trashy, too long and I find the point of view chapters a bit annoying sometimes. It's very Game of Thrones. Some other books as wellm I think it's the current go to style for 'genre' books. That is to say as sci-fi that isn't too demanding they are very enjoyable to read. Recommended. Four stars.

I see BabyfarkmcGeezak has added tax avoision to his rich tapestry of minor crimes. And you have added avoision to your lexicon of linguistic crimes. It’s a Simpsons thing, Sheep2. Shenguin knows.

Fluid means a substance that has no fixed shape, and flows. It includes vapours and gasses, as well as liquids. But you knew that, didn’t ya amipal? Didn’t you?! In your stupid face Scamipal! *high fives sheggers* DAMNIT! Now I need rushing to the burns ward!

I didn't get far into book one before moving on to something else. Maybe I should give it another try?

I enjoyed them, the whole Querencia stuff is a bit boring at the start but improves over the books. <edit>though like all his books they're too long.

I'm reading a book by Patrick Bishop, it's a bit grim.
