Skanking round the kitchen to various rocksteady/Reggae tunes on the wireless whilst making veg soup.

Thunderstorm with torrential downpour here. Proof that Adad is a Blues fan? I'd think it's his way of celebrating. But I'm really sorry that he caused Chumbles's power cut. It's that kind of behaviour that gives storm gods a bad name. Where I was house sitting there's no guest bed, so I was sleeping on an enormous King sized airbed. Sadly it turned out to be no longer airtight, so I had to pump it up every night before I went to bed. During the night it would get softer, and when I got up in the morning it was like trying to stand up from a bouncy castle. Not the most dignified experience, luckily the cat was the only witness. |

Onto ME3. Finished 2nd series of Missions the French Sci Fi on BBC 4 4* . Now have to wait for series 3 to enter the second portal to find the architects of the first portal.

Been to the park. There was some women with two sets of twins. Ouch. In every sense.
Curry ordered for dinner.
Not had takeaway curry in absolutely ages.
{Edit}My child is better spoken than that. Though if she wishes to wind up her Dunediner mother she will ask for a glass of 'Mulk' in a strong Glaswegian accent. We can thank the nursery staff for that.

Hello all.
I made some comments yesterday which appeared to paint my neighbour in a bad light. And I stand by them.
But, I must say that 99% of the time, it’s very quiet over there.
It’s just that when they are noisy, the really dial up the scum factor.
TVblog: The Good Place, and Community (Glee episode).
Boardgameblog: another evening of HeroQuest. This time, the Elf actually survived til the end of the game - which is novel. I expect there’s be a video in due course.
OTTM: the boy attended a birthday party this morning. It took place at a church hall, and there were roughly 20 kids running amok.
Wooden floor + hard childrens’ shoes + slap-foot running = the loudest sound in the universe.
