I think I have food poisoning. I am shivering, aching all over and I have just done a demon poo from hell. I got over man flu last week. Is that how life is in your 40's? That's normal progression for deadly mystery illnesses; apparent recovery from infection, followed by a resurgence of the infection in other organs. Frankly, you don't have much of a chance of outliving Tids. TLDR: no, that's how death is in your 40's. The council I work for just launched a survey about historical links to slavery.
Corporate Comms folk sent me stuff to punt on our social media.
They also sent me some graphics to use for recruitment posts on social media. I *almost* used the graphics for the latter for the former.
I may have just actually shit myself.

I don't like over-the-ear cans. They make my ears too warm. Although I'm feeling too cold now. But not on the ears. Time to put on a jumper. I'm struggling to keep awake. The Sunday game stream last night went on until after 1 a.m. and I didn't get enough sleep. At least after 4 hours out of 5 we finally reached a trial in Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Btw, although I played the game for quite some time yesterday, I wasn't able to get close to the part we played on stream. So, some spoilers, but nothing serious. I also had a Jeff Fresh delivery yesterday which means that I now have milk again which means that I can have some much-needed coffee. It was very good, except that this time they had added four ice packs to the paper bags with the chilled food. 3 of the 4 turned out to be leaky, so I can't even re-use them, and I suppose Greta won't be impressed that I'm recycling the paper bags but putting plastic cooling elements in the bin. This is a nice report on London's latest and already most rubbish attraction that's drawing a crowd of people who want to see how bad it is. Great little article on the BBC, and Mr Kibble is right about Aylesbury Bus Station. "Mr Kibble ... singled out Aylesbury Bus Station as "one of the most depressing places on earth". The station, at the bottom of a multi-storey car park, is "a concrete bunker full of diesel fumes and awful toilets", he said. It's worse than that... even the destitute don't go there. Some great quotes there. |
