Trains eh? Marvellous. Started Queens Gambit last night as apparently Amazon are drip feeding nine perfect strangers. Very good so far.
Old firm fans in diabolical bigotry shocker. Cunts.
I see from my commute the hawf mast trousers are still a thing with the yoot.

This is the thing that always confuses my ethnography of Glasgow - it's absolutely rammed full of hipsters, but there's also clearly a not insubstantial OF bigot brigade. Is there any overlap between these demographics? Do you get guys with half mast 200 quid jeans singing The Sash over their 6 quid craft IPAs? Those guys can't all be Thistle fans.

Morning.
Bit fresh and cloudy out.
I bought a DAC with built in AMP for my gaming headphones, real game changer. Cyberpunk feels much more alive now and the sounds are much deeper and richer. Thinking about getting some new headphones too, although my old Audio Technica ATH-M35 are holding up pretty well.

Grey out, was hoping for a better week after some sun last night. Finished me:a, think the ending to 2 is the only one that really stuck. Early night but then woke up to strange noises outside through the night, not sure of foxes or the youths.

Morning all.
TVblog: that Chateaux-escape programme was on. Oof. I did see a Futurama as well, so that was a much-needed positive.
Filmblog: Mad Max Fury Road. Every frame is pure perfection. 4 stars.

Morning all,
Rome Remastered. Brittanica is dominating the map, had my first scrap with the and those chariots are a pain. The city revolt bug hasn't been fixed which is a bit tedious. Awaiting the inevitable revolts and riots which I took many turns ago and are now quite full.
4 stars.

Morning. Another shitty night of my body stabbing me in the guts.
I have a plan though, and it's as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning.
I hope.

Trip to the doctor for you Tids.
Also, you haven't been around any large eggs on alien spaceships recently?

Trip to the doctor for you Tids. Also, you haven't been around any large eggs on alien spaceships recently? I don't like to bother the medical profession unless my body can't sort it out on its own. Now, being that my body is actively trying to kill me, you have a valid point.
I'll give it 24 hours to buck its ideas up.

It's the natural culmination of your life thus far, the ultimate conflict that inevitably arises out of the very essence of your being and the whole mode of your living. Either you kill your body, or your body kills you first. In any event, can I have first dibs on your stuff?

Alas, no… It’s a Channel 4 series where an insufferable arty woman and her former-Royal-Engineers husband buy a chateaux in France and proceed to do it up.

Morning chatterbox fabula nova crystallis!
Sweet headphone DAC chat. Deep and rich.
Away off work for the week this week in a hovel in the countryside outside the . First thing this morning had an email through saying we didn't get the *redacted* contract. No bonus for Terry. Happy Holidays!
I was in two minds as two weather to take the switch, but fortunately I've come to my senses and am packing the switch.

Major Bodger, Mrs Bodger and sundry lodgers... after 7 years in the Royal Engineers my father had to hold down a day job and study at evening classes for 12 years to get the qualifications to show that he knew what he'd learned in those seven years. Quite honestly, I hardly saw him for the first 8 years of my life.

I think I have food poisoning. I am shivering, aching all over and I have just done a demon poo from hell. I got over man flu last week.
Is that how life is in your 40's?

Great little article on the BBC, and Mr Kibble is right about Aylesbury Bus Station. "Mr Kibble ... singled out Aylesbury Bus Station as "one of the most depressing places on earth". The station, at the bottom of a multi-storey car park, is "a concrete bunker full of diesel fumes and awful toilets", he said. It's worse than that... even the destitute don't go there.
