Chatterbox Friday

I noticed alot of empty or nearly empty shelves in sainsburys. Fresh produces/ meats etc all seemed fine, but tins, non perishables, sort drinks, and... gulp... Beer, were sparse

For lorry drivers, yeah brexit, but also IR35 too possibly as this made it worthwhile for them.

I've had an eventful morning. Heard a cat meowing in the courtyard area, eventually located a grey kitten. Judicious investigation led to the possibility that it could belong to the legend that is Gripper. Gripper wasn't in, but The Lad (who is on good terms with him atm) had his phone number, gave him a call and he (Grip) confirmed it was his.

Grip has just come to thank me (no cash) and gave me a smile (unsettling).

I thought at least it would be about submariners or hot sweaty 18th century sailors sharing hammocks, fighting the French and kissing Hardy. A lower class Black Sails.

I haven't seen Lower Decks.

PUBG chat:

First match was on Sanhok, the Vietnam map. I looted up with an M4 and no other weapon and made my way to the next complex over. I saw a flash of another player running in and so I stayed silently near one of the doorways and boom! I sprayed him down with my M4. He had loads of cool stuff on his dead body, including an SLR (a good ranged weapon) so I was now well setup.

Making way through the long grass to the next circle I had a player see me running in and he took cover behind a large rock. I flushed him out with two grenades and took him down with 3 SLR shots to the body. Nice.

Then another player ran in from the same direction I came in, drawn in by the firing. I initially knew where he was, but after taking cover I focused on the wrong tree and he took me with a sniper headshot.

Second match was on Erangel (the large Russian map) and I landed in a busy area in the centre. As before I found a good spray weapon (a Beryl this time) and hid in the corner and sure enough after 2 minutes of waiting another came running to be sprayed down. Once again I took all their cool stuff, which this time included another M4 to replace the Beryl and a SKS.

After a couple of minor skirmishes with players shooting at me at range I stalked another player entering a compound and got a good body shot in with the SKS, unfortunately this alerted my presence to another nearby player who headshot me with a sniper. The circle was not in my favour at that point anyway.

If i posted my innermost thoughts you'd really have cause to complain.
