Crank will no doubt be pleased to know I no longer work with submarines. I now work in digital infrastructure, installing fibre networks to homes around the country.
Can’t go wrong.

Forgot about that. No longer breaking submarines, now breaking VDSL. Updated the spreadsheet.

Our Freesat is playing up. Only one tuner is properly working. We can still watch telly or recordings but can't record and watch live TV at the same time. Trying to work out if the box, cabling, LNB are to blame. I could take the box to someone with a dish and plug it in and see if it's the same - therefore the box.
The only neighbour with Sky is Billy next door who I've badmouthed here before. I dunno if I can be arsed asking him. A new LNB Is only 15 quid from Jeff. But if it's the box then it's 15 wasted. Plus if i knock out the dish alignment replacing the LNB then I'll need an engineer out anyway. Pah.
Games! A wee bit of Battlefield V. I then restarted The Last of Us. Only really got past the big pre-title stuff. Will start properly tonight.

4/10. My melittological knowledge has bee-n lacking. A 2008 study found that cocaine caused bees to “dance extremely vigorously” when returning to the hive after visiting a feeder stocked with sugar solution. The study also found that the bees “behaved as if the sucrose solution was of a much higher quality than it really was.” Did they have ickle tiny silver spoons so the bees could take it? Did they build a Bees only Studio 54? There's not enough detail here.

It's definitely the recently installed broadband fibre network.

Went to the cinema last night for the first time since the before-time. Saw the new Candyman film. It was a bit mediocre. Nice looking, but not much by way of scares. Also although I don't generally get bothered by woke, there is quite a lot of woke in there.
I also watched Antman and the Wasp. It was crap.
Both 4 stars. Obvs.

Hello all.
TVblog: I finished The Good Place last night. A brilliant last episode, one which made me genuinely upset. No, you’re crying!
And Futurama.

The fate of the USS Thresher has always stuck with me. Something went wrong on the sea trials, and it went too deep, couldn’t lift itself up and got stuck sinking below crush depth.

With Freeview via aerial and an internet TV is Freesat worth it, does it provide anything extra? No games, caught up on some more last leg. Made it in and out of town before the pride parade. Nothing against that just don't want to be around lots of people not in masks.

With Freeview via aerial and an internet TV is Freesat worth it, does it provide anything extra? Not nowadays no. They used to have more channels. We don't have an aerial on the roof - but we have a dish at ground level on the front of the house - hence using Freesat. So if we need a new box we'd need an aerial installed if we wanted Freeview. We have an old Freeview recorder in the attic so if getting an aerial fitted was cheaper than a new box I suppose we could do that. But I'd need to check it worked at the in-laws. Billy next door has SkyQ the cunt, so our box won't work on his dish - different LNB. Time to hack his WiFi printer and send abusive messages

I did find a small shop selling cds. I bought a Mark Lanegan cd. Probably giving them false hope.

I'm boring myself and it's my TV.
Ideally I need an engineer who will fix it cheaply and then take a bung to tell the PM it's because you don't have a 4K TV and you'll need to get one pronto. Never mind a new boiler. And for her to actually believe that.

3/10 - abysmal guessing. The only thing that I know about bees is to bee nice to them I know about manuka dressings. If you or your medics use them, make bloody sure that they cut them exactly to the shape of the wound - it strips ordinary skin off in 3 days - a nurse doubled the ulcerated area on my left leg - 3y later this skin hasn't grown back. I trawled a lot of imgur for this for you crankcaller ...

Rolling, you lied when you said HMV And I had no cause to doubt you But I'd rather go on hearing your lies Than go to Perth to check.
