In yesterday's vidja gamez stream it was time to Darken the Soulsing (the PS4 remaster). We got as far as the Undead Parish. First part largely without dying even once, followed by a large number of deaths in the area of the Undead Burg. All very entertaining. Of course it made me want to play my own copy that's been sitting in my backlog pile for so long. There were complaints about the camera and about the control scheme, both justified as far as I could see. I've still only played a bit of the demo and the control scheme was just too weird, but now that one can remap buttons on the Pro Controller I should really give this another chance, though realistically I've just got too many other games to finish first.
It's not cool to bitch about a game's control scheme but I'm doing it anyway.

The boy is back at school today. My partner has gone to retrieve him, which should really give me a good hour and a half to myself.
Alas, no. No, I have an hour’s meeting booked in for that exact time.

I have been drinking cold cold beer, in a hot sunny garden, while playing with a puppy, and listening to England’s latest cricket collapse.
Reheat lasagne for tea later.
Another beer? Why not.

amipal - next time you go to the beach, wear protection on your feet, a cheap £5 to £10 pair of slip ons will be fine. My parents had a spate of Weever stings on the beach near them.

amipal - next time you go to the beach, wear protection on your feet, a cheap £5 to £10 pair of slip ons will be fine. My parents had a spate of Weever stings on the beach near them. I will be getting a pair of surf shoes - the pebbles are quite uncomfortable to walk on as it is. |

So the film Free Guy is really good. 4*
The trailers gave a bit too much away, though the first one is okay.
There is one scene at the end that is geek heaven.
Also, also they had electric recliner chairs, the time during the ads and trailers were spent playing with the chairs.
