I'm being carted off to hospital midday for a short sequence of stuff, including having a MRSA swab... I've got a similar visit Friday p.m. for a Covid test... I find it farcical that I have to go to be tested for 2 things in the only place where I am likely to catch them. These are in preparation for next Tuesday's operation. |

Morning all,
Gameschat.
Dug out Blood Bowl 2 and picked up with my Chaos Warrior team. My team value is 2400 or so, made games a bit too easy and meant each game involved the pc team having 12 rerolls a game.
Did a cull with a few of my higher ranked players. Then got beat by an elf team. Up against some Amazons next. Gping to try and develop a passer and catcher to vary it up a bit.
Also, Minos are a bit crap.

Morning all!
The boy brought a cold home from school on Friday, one which has now developed a cough serious enough to validate the use of his inhalers. So we’re off for a PCR test for him at 11am this morning.
TVblog: two episodes of The Looming Tower. I think we could do without seeing Jeff Daniel’s bum.

Games: Downloaded Sheltered from EPIC games, customised my family unit, commenced the tutorial, saved and quit.
OTTM: Watched Farewell My Lovely with Dick Powell. *
* For clarification I wasn't watching with Dick Powell (though that would be cool albeit somewhat creepy since he's been dead for nearly 60 years); the film starred Dick Powell along with Claire Trevor.

Don't watch much live TV anymore but do use iPlayer on the rare occasion. More listen to the BBC sounds for science podcasts. Should catch up on the ancient history podcast that pops up here every so often, first few were a good listen. |

Just tried a packet of Walkers 'Taste Icons' crisps - Fish and Chips flavour. Strange but not unpleasant. I'd say a cross between Lemon and scampi Nik Naks with Burton fish n chips.
Also got some Chicken Madras flavour ones to try too. If you can control the excitement I'll report back in due course. Maybe do a live feed (hoho).
