Quiet today, Tuesdays are not as bad as Mondays but not the best weekday.
I think this is the monsoon part of the Indian summer now?
Off to find the espresso maker to be 'more productive' when WFH, or how much time can be spent playing at making coffee.

Hello. The pm is downstairs on a teams call. The bananas are behind her and so couldn't have a banana in my cereal.
The espresso machine is near her as well so no coffee yet. Fuck this.
No TV, no games.
Just back from the school run. Wet out. Discovered a jacket a thought was waterproof is no longer so on the seams. Off to Tiso then for some spray to sort it.

First covid cases in the cul-de-sac have arrived.

School runs starting to get me down now, it's all a mad rush from 6.30 a.m. and then I finally start work at 9.a.m.

Games
Fortnite Season 8
Some solo. I was ok, not great. I managed 2 wins in 8 matches.
Duos. Hmm. In 3 games I managed 1 (one) kill. This was one more kill than Shenguin managed. Fortunately this was a match winning shot. I was hiding in a bush and there was a firefight nearby leaving just two others alive. I could only see the one. So I shot him twice. He died and the victory screen came up.
Trios. Lazybones turned up just as we were finishing so we played a game of trios. Zero kills for any of us. Second place. It would have gone better at the end when we were down to 2 v 3 if Shenguin hadn't bravely stood in the open to ensure I was the final survivor. Unfortunately that left me 1 v 3 with a target on my head. The opposition were unsurprisingly competent. Unlike us.
So in four multiplayer games we (I!) managed one kill and one win.
Deathloop
I tried this. I'm not sure.
I liked the gameplay. It's an Arkane game so it is not dissimilar to Dishonoured in feel.
I wasn't entirely keen on the characters or the way the game shouted everything. I expect it will be pretty good, but I hope that was just in the tutorial.

I played a couple of games of EFT with my brother last night. First game we looted a small area and attacked some Scavs, but I was shot in the leg so we took a nearby extraction and excited with our lives. Second game we were attacked early by another team, I killed one but my brother's attacker killed me and I lost my sweet M4.
We then played PUBG and came 2nd.
Actually on that note PUBG has a new casual mode where it's bots and a maximum of 12 real players. It's therefore quite friendly for new players now if anyone was fancying giving it a go.

What happens to the car when the WiFi goes? I think bt are playing with the box around the corner as it keeps dropping when didn't use to. |

Today should have been penultimate roof day, but alas it's raining cats and dogs so no work will happen until tomorrow.
Chilli and jacket/baked potato last night, with leftovers for tonight. Might go wild and have it with rice. Or maybe potato wedges. Gamechanger ingredient added: Half a jar of M&S sun dried cherry tomatoes in herb infused oil. Minus the oil.
No games.
