Damn! I was a little too subtle! The header was inspired by Felice Landry 's Friday curry post, so it's all round his place tonight in his pop-up kitchen!
Monday again, where did the weekend go? It seems that from walking around town yesterday masks are not being used anymore. No gardening yesterday as showers kept coming so the weather is lovely today instead. Need to see if the local dump will take garden waste, do think we have enough to add an extra bin to our collection and pay for that collection. Still empty garages around here and queueing on main roads making things iffy with drivers deciding to go the wrong way around traffic islands with oncoming cars. Anyone for Cuban far cry this week? It has some interesting pets from the trailer. OTTM bond tickets booked so now to stock up on dewormer in advance.
*psst look over here at some old news to distract you*
Today I have retrieved the slow cooker from its summer hibernation in the cupboard. Making beef stew. Will contain beef, garlic, carrots, potatoes, onions, wine, stock, seasoning. Also have some brocolli and/or cauliflower to have with it. I've never made cauliflower cheese so am considering this. Cool story etc
Last night I watched two more episodes of Hannibal series 2. Roasted leg or human beehive honey anyone? Yummers!
With a first child on the way is the switch a good investment? Feel that gaming sessions on a big screen will be going out the window.
You're fine with the tv for the first year or so. They can't do anything apart from cry, shit and puke. Once they are old enough to realise what the tv is then it basically becomes theirs, which is ok as it acts as a babysitter. That's when a switch will come in handy.
You'll then have a couple of years until they take an interest in the switch. At which point it goes the way of the tv and become theirs.

With our first kid I remember I could occasionally game for 20 minutes whilst they napped (but a whole load of other jobs came first). But you might as well do that on the telly or monitor.
