I don't really get why the Dune film is only half the book. It's not like it's a massive book, and the story has a clear three act structure. Using Kindle stats. Dune: 722 pages Lord of the Rings: 1209 pages. I don't think I could go 30 hours. Get yourself a bit of E-Coli or norovirus. It's easy to not eat anything particularly solid for a day or two. I never had any trouble eating with E-Coli. It was the massive blood clots that were unsightly and bothersome.*
