Lunchblog: leftover yorkshires stuffed with leftover roast pork and leftover apple sauce. Shoved in the oven for ten minutes to heat and re-crisp. Boodiful.

5 of my evening meals over the past 10 days have been takeaway curry, including two of leftovers. I think I missed evening meals at least two other days, meaning 62.5% of my evening meals are curry. Windy out today. Are you claiming to have cooked a meal 3 out of the last 10 days? Seems unlikely unless picking 4 pickled eggs out of the jar counts. That's 4 per meal so 12 in total. One meal was bought from a motorway service station. I can't remember the others. Probably lentils and lettuce or something really healthy like that.

What the fuck are leftover yorkshires? They are the ones which were not quite up to scratch, so Mick McCarthy, Ricky Wilson, John Prescott etc...

Head nursey has been and gone, trailing a new Nursey. Double the fun... I survived it, but apparently the antibiotics can't possibly be expected this week. đź’€ I'll eat once their tender care has worn off. In the meantime I have been listening to the excellent audio book of Iain M. Banks "The Algebraist" excellent narration by: Geoff Annis... But by far and away the best audio book recently has been "The Wolf" Under the Northern Sky, Book 1, by: Leo Carew and narrated by: Matt Addis - who knows the value of a pause and, with a set of characters and plot that has been compared to GoT. It became something I had to listen to, not something I listened to whilst doing something else and somehow found nearly 17h over 4 days to finish it. One cretin likened it to Mediaeval Fantasy, which it is not. It's more akin to something born out of dark Nordic forests. I have book 2, but I am awaiting the third ...

I think the locals could give you some helpful dietary advice
