Top 5 All Hallowes Eve games?
I once watched a video of someone playing Luigi's Mansion, that looked Halloweeny.
Erm, Ghostbusters game.
Friday 13th?
Oh forget it.

£8.80 seems very reasonable for a pint and a coffee. I think you and I may have different interpretations of 'reasonable'. Try the Anchor next time. Don't hand over £10 for two drinks though. It's ages since I've been there but I'm sure it was well over £5 a pint 10+ years ago. A proper turist trap. You also need to go to The White Horse at Parsons Green. The first place I paid more than £6 a pint. It was some posh 7% black beer but even so. Alternatively The Bull & Bladder at Brierly Hill was serving pints at £2.40 in 2019. Cash only though. They don't take cards. They do good scratchings as well. A proper pub. I took some friends there. They were amazed at the prices and the accents. And that you could go there get pretty drunk and have change from £20.

Scary games Jump scares are ok, but a malevolent atmosphere can be so much worse
Thief 3: Shalebridge Cradle level. Do you want to stay up later than CrankCaller? Yes yes you do. You never want to sleep again
Silent Hill 2 Unsettling. I don't think it stands up well mechanically. But for atmosphere it is the best. That sense of creeping dread with occasional bursts of violence. Much better than all out gore games.

The HD version is included in the PS Now subscription, I had a quick go but not really played it properly. Cool story.

I went to a craft wank pub a couple of weeks ago. £14 for two pints. Fortunately it was my mates round. I suggested we move on to the wetherspoons after that. I think my round was under 6 quid.

I went to the Anchor a few times in the 90s. Prices were almost as bad as Edinburgh so at least it helped with the homesickness.

Pure Planet has gone bust, and along with it my fixed price contract until June '23. I should have realised they said in August that they were fully hedged... I think I had better enter the lottery ...

My favourite pub in London I've mentioned is The Lamb in Lambs Conduit Street with it's privacy screens but god knows how they are doing in these times ... But outside the centre of London the White Cross at Richmond, right on the river. It's not a coincidence the both are Youngs

For those with BT Sport and who are interested, they are showing the full Fury v Wilder fight from Saturday night on BT Sports 1.
A cracker, if a bit brutal.
