Happy Birthday Sheeps!
Car MOT drop off day here too. Expired 2 months ago ahem.
Drove to testing station in pissing rain, to be told the MOT hoist machine had broken so all appointments were cancelled. Part has to come from Germany so no expected fix date coz Brexit.
Drove home in pissing rain, and seemed to upset a cyclist somehow as he shook his fist at me. He wasn’t even in my lane. Cheered me up no end, he looked proper miserable.
Rebooked and had to pay up front for a Kwik-Fit special on Wednesday. Stand by for the next thrilling episode.

I'm in a 'Spoons! This is probably the most depressing place I've ever been in 'Spoons pubs, perhaps more than any other chain, vary enormously in quality. There are some in spectacular buildings, such as the Opera House in Royal Tunbridge Wells, the Caley Picture House in Edinburgh or The Palladium in Llandudno. Others are total shitholes. My Croydon local alas falls into the latter category. It's been about 4 or 5 years since I was last there, but there was a cracking 'spoons in Bristol city centre. An old Midland bank I think. High decorated ceilings, framed pictures on the walls etc. Their Tuesday night steaks were very good quality.

Car back on the drive. Full service and MOT done. Apparently between Oct 2020 and Oct 2021 I've driven less than 2,500 miles. I await my thank you from Greta for saving her future.

1) What part?
2) What is a Kwit-Fit Special?
OK, only 2 questions and I'm sure the answer to 2 is 'a sex thing'.

I have done 595 miles of emission-free driving since 10th September. That’s car rear-end emissions, not my own personal tooting.

It would appear MrTiddles done FRANKED himself. A shame since the post was okay.

Tuffers The Commercial Rooms? It was always a nice building. Just googled to check the pictures. Yes, that's the one. Was in Bristol for a short while for work. Usually went in 'spoons Tues, sometimes Thursday. I've also just looked up a superb curry house I used to go in too, Raj of King street, funnily enough on king street, near the river. Superb food.

I suspect Sheep2's knowledge of 'spoons pubs reveals a familiarity with which he is not entirely happy to declare.

Question.
In the event of the inevitable zombie apocalypse, who would have the best car?
#carchat.

Question. In the event of the inevitable zombie apocalypse, who would have the best car? #carchat. Where's that picture of Gong (I think) nonchalantly leaning against some hot wheels like Don Johnson in Miami Vice? That's the best. Obviously Amipal is killed first. Waiting for his milk float to charge up whilst the raging zombie hordes tear him limb from limb. My extremely sensible, but boring, 2015 family friendly vauxhall will be reliable, have room to pack plenty of weapons, but ultimately too sluggish to prevent an early zombie shredding.

Question. In the event of the inevitable zombie apocalypse, who would have the best car? #carchat. Sadly, I have to rely on my machine gun turret and supplies. But after that I expect to be zombified and thereafter fall apart ...

If we are talking zombie apocalypse I think it would benefit from a Melvazord type makeover though. Needs a lot more spikes and skulls.
