Morning folks.
On the earlier train as I've a meeting at 9am. Breathtaking arrogance.
Higher number of mask wearers on the earlier train. So the slackers are the maskless wonders? As a slacker myself I'm offended by this turn of events.
No games, no TV last night. Asda order and then wrestling with my pals laptop. Coffee? Yes please.

Grey and wet out which is a change from yesterday’s windy and wet out. Rain is more drizzle this am than fine mist as was on yesterday’s walk. One mission on fc6 with a new well powered friend.

Torrential rain here.
Pup is not impressed, and has demonstrated his disapproval by staging a dirty protest, and has taken a dump in the hall.
Dropped car off for MOT last night at the wrong garage, due to a Fast-Fit / Kwik-Fit mismatch.
Dropped car at the correct garage eventually so am waiting on the results sometime today.

At 4 this morning I found myself staring out of the open back door at torrential rain, whilst wearing only pyjama bottoms and sliders, and holding a live mouse in a plastic bag, trying to work out how best to release it into the jungle that is next door's garden.
Not a great start to the day.

Jury service is going well. Three days so far but not been picked as yet. At home again today. Boom!
The problem with being at home is I get to have another go at Returnal. My word that game is tough as a year old peperami. Currently on the 'third' level and I'm getting my backside handed back to me so often I'm not sure if I want to hand it out any more.

Also it s lovely and sunny here. There is some evidence of recent heavy rain. But I appear to have slept through it. There was sun and a nice fresh smell on the walk to work.

Morning all!
Partner’s first proper day back in the office, which meant her getting up at 6AM to be out of the door on time for the first of two buses.
The boy was quite upset that his mum wasn’t here when he woke up, poor lad.
I drove him to school (I didn’t nudge any Insulate Britain protesters), and then picked up and dropped off a school friend of his as the cab company had let them down.
Gamesblog: more Fallout 4. I’m back in the game… damn you, Bethesda!

No. Strangely that thought never occured to me. It was deposited in our bedroom by one of the cats. The sound of the cat 'playing' with the poor thing woke me up. It wasn't moving so I thought it was dead. I went to retrieve a plastic bag from the kitchen so I could pick it up. As I reached for it, it ran, but I managed to catch it and take it downstairs. The rest you know. |

Childish computer games that directly cause people to murder:
RE4 - After bashing in Lake Monster thing, I then took down (only just) the first El Gigante, with a little help from the dog I saved earlier in the game. From being well buff, with lots of herbs and ammo, I was down to my last few shotgun shells before it fell. Phew! Then made my way to the church and rescued the presidents daughter, made it to the next typewriter wanker point and saved. It seems she's been injected too. I don't think they're going to let us reach the extraction point quietly.

Weather: It absolutely pissed it down at 4 this morning which, by association of ideas led to me hurpling off to the bathroom. And there was a fucking cold 'lazy wind' blowing around my buttocks. And from my brief foray outside for the dumping of rubbish, (for as any fule no, Thor's day is when the bin boys gather the crap) it feels bloody cold with that sodding wind penetrating my scant clothing. But it is sunny. Today is my day, sacred to Odin / Woden, so to celebrate Chumbles Day |
