Afternoon all.
It’s been two years since the boy has had a viral wheeze - four weeks after being told by the consultant that he didn’t need his preventative puffer any more, and we’re back up the hospital with his breathing…
Good start to the school holidays.

I'm not surprised he's upset, what with a tree stump up his bottom.
Also that bird is likely to leave a nasty mark.

Unlike the bloke posting it. Cricket : Scotland having done so well in the T20 qualifiers, have been destroyed by Afghanistan. Quite honestly, I don't think any team is safe from them. Afghanistan -190 - for 4 wickets Scotland: 60 all out Mohammad Shahzad takes a blinder

Is internet addiction a growing problem? A BBC article - I reckon I'm 'addicted', but I have fuck all else to do; and it's arguably keeping me alive. At least I don't look like this guy; he may be a nice guy, but he looks like a bloke who would found Game Quitters. "Cam Adair finally realised that his addiction to video games was out of control when it made him consider ending his life."

Going on to Twitch to watch gaming streams didn't seem the most sensible thing to do.

BabyFark sent me his workout video, 'The Fitinator', or something. If anyone finds my spine, please let me know.

It would have been interesting to know what games Mr Adair was playing, I'm guessing WoW, Fortnite or Animal Crossing*.
*Though a gacha game would most likely lead to problems.

Morning. Work is busy. I would like to say it's because we're over run with patrons but unfortunately it's the opposite of that. I'm actually on the coal face tomorrow at a branch as we're short staffed and I'm covering a counter for a couple of hours. Been a while. Frank Spencer stamping books whilst trying to get folk to fill in Test & Protect stuff will be the vibe.
We watched a bit of Monument men last night.
Possibly going to watch succession tonight.

Boy’s staying over in hospital - my partner came to relieve me, so I came home for some dinner. Watching The Simpsons Movie for some light entertainment.

It’s been two years since the boy has had a viral wheeze - four weeks after being told by the consultant that he didn’t need his preventative puffer any more, and we’re back up the hospital with his breathing… Good start to the school holidays. Sorry to hear that. I hope that you get the opportunity to kick the consultant up the jacksie. I hate consultant* * I am certain that my brother's oncology consultant killed him. He was desperately weak after chemotherapy, but recovering when the consultant "had a feeling that the cancer was coming back". No evidence, no proof. A month after the first dose of the renewal of chemo, he caught a cold which turned into pneumonia and died. Consultants since 1914 have been either trying to get me to agree to the amputation of my leg or knowingly advocated treatment which would result in that. I told my vascular surgeon to, in polite language to fuck off last week when he tried again. Make him justify his decisions...
