Do larger excel files refresh at slower rates than smaller ones? Possibly, probably. If Excel / your processor is struggling with the operations, then it can lead to significant slowness. Under File > Options > Formula, you can set it so it doesn't automatically calculate, if you have a very complicated and large spreadsheet. You'll then need to press F9 or click on the bottom left corner to update formulae -- the old value will show in the cells until you do this, even if the formula's precedent cells have changed. Under File > Options > Data, you can disable undo under certain conditions to speed up refresh time; the default is that undo will be disabled for pivot tables with more than 300,000 rows of data. Many years ago during a stay in Syria I found my hummus/falafel saturation point. I loved and enjoyed both but in the space of a few weeks you can eat a lot of hummus and falafel there. I still remember finishing a meal, turning to the PM and saying: "I have eaten my last falafel and hummus." Luckily the aversion didn't last as my hummus and falafel intolerance meter gradually went down and after a year or two was back to normal.

I'm not a fan of salad since my first stay in hospital... glossing over saggy lettuce* and diced vegetables, no coleslaw and diced fucking beetroot mixing with the rest to create a grim mess. I never got past a couple of mouthful of it before upchucking. If it were just the salad it wouldn't be so bad; unfortunately the entire day's food. One reason why I dropped 6.5 stones in 3 months. *I've always hated the mouth feel of lettuce |

The thing is I was really sick in the winter of 2020/21. I lost my sense of smell and could barely get out of bed, but the COVID test was negative. But it turns out Sheffield test centre were fucking up the testing for the area.
I could have had to sooooooo much time off work!

OTTM: My brother's in Hospital with the Covid. Never been jabbed, thought he was too big and strong (which he thought he was) to need a jab. Said it was all Government propaganda. Now he's in hospital crying like a baby.
