We had a mailshot from Lidl that advertised a Lebanese Red. It turned out to be a wine.
I'm currently enjoying winding up alleged drug dealers on Telegram. They're claiming to have stuff here within two hours. This random guy from the states has runners everywhere. I gave him the postcode for Govan Police station so he could work out drop off times. But send the bitcoin now.
He also had posted a photo of his first parcel of the day he was sending out. He wasn't too pleased when I pointed out to the room the parcel was stamped 5th October 2020.
I was kicked from the chat surprisingly.

I've just seen a bit of amipal's favourite show 'Escape to the Chateau' while flicking through channels (ie working from home). Awful. And how does that man eat or drink anything through that enormous moustache? Is it detachable? Or does he blend everything and suck it up through a straw? Thankfully I've found The Saint on ITV4. |

I once asked a neighbour why the ice cream vans kept coming around in Winter - he screwed his face up, put a fat finger up one side of his nose and closed one eye. It took me a while to realise that he hadn't just made a spectacularly bad attempt to extract a bogey; that that was his attempt to surreptitiously indicate illegal activity. The pandemic put paid to them, but a new wrinkle adopted by some incomers is a fish and chip van that goes to all the festivals... Haddock & Chips with a side order of E. * The oldest local families have names that seem to indicate descent from hobbits: Puddephats, Goss, Gomms, Tyrwhitt-Drakes.... |

But on Telegram you can see people nearby and also local "groups" I'm already banned from all the local Anti-Vaxx/Covid iS a Scaam ones. Fake drug dealers and fake call girls add you to new groups they've set up. They're not really local they're spoofing location ID. A lot of them use the same images of weed/coke/pills/guns etc and the ladees use a lot of the same ID photos. The dealers want bitcoin upfront and then they'll drop off. Ok then. I mean dealers ARE using telegram but it's existing networks selling to folk they know. |

I am WFH. I had a bit of dressing down from a bigwig is all. Also our global monolith is being split into pieces again and I just found out which piece I am likely to end up with, so it's nice to know I have a job when the dust settles.
