Lunch update: Mushroom pie. Not the magic variety. No growth spurt effect, either. SAD.
Edit: I just read further down on the Shetland News article, and they admit that the Christmas break-ins to local garages remain unsolved! I rest my case.

I’ve been to Wagamama for two successive lunches.
Thursdays was great. Today’s wasn’t.
I suppose that’s proof of something.

Apparently the queen is starting this year's London marathon. I'm betting she doesn't finish. What are you talking about? She's won it in previous years! Just take a look at the photo finish:  Nicola Sturgeon came in second, but this year she might have opted for more sensible shoes. |

Hello All.
Been busy today with my daughters school spring assembly and then Asda delivery, cleaning etc. Also arranging a hall for the child's birthday party. In a rush getting the child ready for Rainbows a chugger came to the door. I had feebly put her off earlier in the day and she was back for a second shot.
Unfortunately I had opened the windows for cooking smell purposes (meatballs & spaghetti fyi) and so she probably heard me proclaim as I looked out the window
"Oh god, it's the chugger from earlier..."
Hopefully some booze, TV and games in a bit.
Tldr- I'm a monster and abused a charity lady.

Particularly effective when they've dragged their offspring along. I usually answer the door under those circumstances with a simple, heartfelt "Oh fuck, not you again!" YOU AGAIN? is also what it says on our doormat (from IKEA, good value). Really helps getting the message across. |
