Morning all.
I've got Lazybones-levels of gaming ennui at present. Still have Far Harbour and Nuka World DLCs to finish in Fallout 4. Am on the last boss of R&C. Have Mad Max to carry on with. Bloodborne installed. Witcher 3 sat unplayed. Even Black Flag to make progress in. But nothing floats my boat.
Ach, back to endless YouTube videos -going through some of the Red Letter Media reviews. I very much agree with 90% of what they say about any given film.

Mornin' Last night I played some of the Ambush Global Event stuff in The Division. It was OK. Wee! All your talk of the division peaked my interest you bastard. The reviews seem favourable now, it's basically just an online shooter? I might pick it up this weekend, but if everyone online is going to be major OP I won't bother..

I never really got on with Dark Souls. Not sure why, as I love Demons and Bloodborne. Last night I played way too much Fortnite again - it's like crack. I also let my 8 year old have a go and he finished 9th, with one kill, on his first ever game. I am thinking of getting him scouted by some Korean e-sports outfit.

Sorry to hear that he's already dead - again.
Last night turned out to be corker as far as entertainment goes. First of all, deepest, undying gratitude to Wee, who alerted me to the last series of Shetland. We had watched series 1 & 2 on Netflix and loved it, although it does beg the usual crime drama question how the place can be viewed as a quiet backwater when there are so many murders. Anyway, watched the first episode. 4 *s.
All I want to say about what happened in Skyrim is that I entered a drinking competition and that my character isn't quite straight as she fondles some busty statue when pissed.
The evening was rounded off by watching the Mad Men episode "Guy Walks into an Advertising Agency". Those of you who have seen it know how it plays out, and if you haven't watched Mad Men then why not? Apparently Paul Kinsey plays "Jerusalem" on his guitar as the Brits arrive at the office. And did those feet in ancient times...

Also really want to get into monster hunter world. Heard great things and love that you create your own character.
So the general consensus is that it's brilliant right?

I take it you've never played it? In that case you'll be fine. Seriously. PvP is entirely opt-in with the vast majority of the game being purely PvE. The two MP areas are the Dark Zone and what's called Skirmish mode. Skirmish is basically Team Death Match and the Dark Zone is a mixture of PvP and PvE. The PvE scales to your level however, baddies and the World Tiers, so you should be challenged without having your pants pulled down. If you're on Xbox then you can use the LFG function to find other lower level players if you want help. Update 1.8.1 lands next month so you'll not be behind for long as it's changing drop rates etc.

The murders are usually separated by a long time and mostly committed by non Shetlanders. Clever really.

Everyone’s en route to the Shetlands to commit unrelated murders. The Shetland Tourist Board knew exactly what they were letting themselves in for. I still claim that that police station could do with more staff. While they are busy with murder investigations I bet that a lot of sheep rustling goes unpunished. It got so bad that a few years ago the police had to give reassurance on local crime rates www.shetnews.co.uk/news/8841-crime-figure-drop-as-police-give-reassurance. " The latest crime figures for Shetland suggest that one of the safest communities in Scotland is becoming safer still – despite a recent spate of rowdiness and disorder in Lerwick town centre."
