Monday. I am moribund.
I can't reveal my actual job for fear of revealing my secret identity, but suffice to say Wide Andy and accompanying cast were entirely real with some names, locations and identities changed. I've moved on to somewhere a bit less mental, still enjoying a five figure salary and currently WFB making shitloads from computers.

Top 5 accents for swearing? 1) West Belfast 2) Glaswegian 3) Scouse 4) Schemie Parisian 5)? A strong Belfast everything would be ideal for everything except going to see a fillum. You can threaten and intimidate people even without meaning to. It's great for very short phone calls. Really gets their attention. Can empty a building in seconds. That is the most I'm going to laugh all week. Soopoib.

Had some warmed up chicken yesterday evening. Probably not a good idea. My arse has been turned inside out. Dogs wondering why he's not been out this morning. I've told him I need to be close to a loo. He thinks I should just take a dump in the kerb like he does if the need arises.

Monday question: Who, here, actually enjoys (enjoyed) their work? For info: My various jobs were a means to an end (work to live not vice versa). Generally hated the work, (mostly) but enjoyed the workplace banter. YMMV. I enjoy mine, but it’s coming to the end of the 6 month honeymoon period where I’m starting to get pissed off with the contractor, and start to make the mistakes that I’ll leave behind me in 12 months, before they catch up with me.

Hi.
Games? Bit of Apex. New map has given it a bit more life. Telly? More Sopranos. Started listening to the episode by episode podcast with Michael Imperioli too. I am going full wise guy.
Work chat? I have worked in the same place for nearly 20 years. I used to really like it, but have become disillusioned in the last few years. There are a lot of good things about it, including a lot of autonomy, but the downside of that is that it enables a lot of uncollegial behaviour, and I've come to realise about a quarter of these people are absolute arseholes, and a few are outright sociopaths. I'm not sure if that's the workplace, or just a representative sample of the population, or it's just me getting older and more cynical, or if in fact I am the arsehole. All things considered, I don't really have a lot to complain about. Apart from this absolute zoomer working for me who never shuts up about what a big deal he is on the competitive Fortnite Duo scene, so I sometimes send him in to clean the toilets with a toothbrush on Sunday evenings.
Sopranos friend! Whereabouts are you? I’ve finally caught up to where I got last time I tried watching the Sopranos, when Jon Favreau suddenly turned up.

It transpires that I am, in fact, reading all that.
I do enjoy my new job, part of the team installing fibre broadband to the barren wasteland that is Plymouth, dragging it kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. One of the few jobs I’ve had where I’m signed up to the company ethos and believe in what they’re doing.
I give it another 6 months. Or I’ll rinse them for chartership then move on.

I'm about halfway through the last series. I must have watched most of the first 4 series before, as I remembered bits and pieces, but I don't think I ever watched the whole thing front to back. It's pretty good - better than I remember. There are some funny cameos in the later series too. By now they are having to recycle a lot of storylines, but it's still good telly, and funny too. The podcast is worth a listen - Talking Sopranos. It's Imperioli and Big Bobby Baccala.

Guy I know from home who lives in that London posted on Twitter about hearing his daughter swear for the first time. Called someone a prick and he was glad to say she swears in Scottish. Really rolled the R's. Top 5 accents for swearing? 1) West Belfast 2) Glaswegian 3) Scouse 4) Schemie Parisian 5)? I never really consider someone cursing in Scottish as actually swearing - it’s just part of the lingo, isn’t it?

I can't talk about what I last did for work, I fear a knock on the door and a half-brick on the bonce.
Suffice to say, I really enjoyed the last 4 years. The rest was all shit.
