I just noticed a change in YouTube, you still have the like/dislike buttons but now they only display the number of "likes" instead of the number of both.

Felice she was through about 6.50 demanding to know why it wasn't on kids Spotify and which iPad had the full fat version. She's asked for a Taylor Swift poster for Xmas. You can't get one. Mainly as TayTay would rather sell you a $60 hoody. Come back Woolies poster section! There's 2 versions, one "explicit" and one "clean". |

I'm currently waiting for Jagjeet, my friendly DPD driver, to deliver my Zelda anniversary Game & Watch. I got an email with the tracking details last night which reminded me that I had forgotten to order my copy of SMT V. As I looked around t'internets to rectify the situation I noticed that for a short while Jeff didn't have a standard copy available, which explains why there's now an EU copy listed, ambitiously priced at £60. Shortly after someone must have discovered another shipping container full of SMT V copies. Phew! At least one crisis averted. |

afternoon all
If you should ever find yourself in Elite Dangerous with an upgraded courier run being hunted by an InterDICtor , remember this rule;
Don't hang on to the run, don't go to ground at a star port near to the drop off, don't use auto launch to leave said port, don't get held in a queue by the DICs mates who run the port, don't try and run for it when the timer runs down and get blow to sh** on the exit. Bast***s cost me a quarter of a million on that stunt and my ship.
That aside I did finish the run anyway so F*** U bad guys, Kane 1 - bad guys 0
I have made space and downloaded FH5 crank, so I will be doing the start up runs at some point. Looking forward to the Cozzy.

I have not listened to the Taylor Swift reissue. I feel somewhat left out.

I have also not seen Suede in concert. Well not last night.
I did see the in Manchester on Wed & in Brum on Sat.
The Brum concert was better. The sound in the Victoria Warehouse was a bit echoing, plus the Dome (O2 Academy Birmingham) is designed for music.
Also it seemed louder in Brum. Possibly it was the same amount of power in a smaller room. A concert just isn't right if the sound levels are reasonable.
I was quite tired yesterday.

The removal of the dislike count is supposed to benefit small YouTube channels, but we all know that it's at the request of large corporations who would like to avoid headlines like "most disliked trailer" etc. Turns out my DPD driver today was the ever reliable Surjit after all. He always brings the best toys. Behold:  So this time they realised that they needed to provide a stand but instead of attaching one to the console they made a little cardboard stand. Look, it's even got a cutout for the charging cable. Droll. I spent a good 15 minutes just playing Zelda on the watch screen, just enough to confirm that indeed " tenth enemy has the bomb". Now I've just found out that on the full hour it plays the "secret uncovered" jingle. Loving it. For Zelda 1 and 2 one has the choice between English and Japanese, but for Link's Awakening Deutsch and Français are also on offer. I just hope the German version is the legendary translation by Claude Moyse. Never without a condom! (Btw, the English translation in that Reddit post doesn't do it justice; "Strolch" is not "thug" but rather short for "Luststrolch" = "pervert", since, well, what else would you call Link in this context?) Already I started playing Link's Awakening and have just called the Bucket Mouse. To me that game is simply irresistible. |

Watch chat: last night I found my watch which I thought I had lost in Cornwall in the summer. It was in the pocket of a bag I've been carrying around ever since. I'd be pleaseder if I hadn't already spent 150 quid replacing it.
Ottm: Paris is looking nice today, though would look even better if banyfark was here too. Would also have been nice not to have got sneered at and called a Brexiter by the garçons manning the border, but I guess they've earned the right.

And yes. 40 minutes of Coming Up Then and hour or so of selected other stuff.
There were 5 or 6 different songs each night so it was worth going to two shows.
Also they put on a proper show. He's pretty god on stage. I've been to other groups where it's just a slightly murky sounding playthrough of the latest album.
This was a murky playthrough of an old album. I also went to concerts where they played Suede, Dog Man Star Night Thoughts and The Blue Hour in full (different concerts not a four hour Suede fest. Though I would go to that obviously). I don't think they played straight through Bloodsports on tour.
I would definitely go to Head Music as well. I have always wanted to hear Elephant Man played live.
Also They still owe me a new album. There was a lot of talk about it last Autumn, but it has gone quiet. They had recorded 10 songs by October 2019. Apparently they work on 50 or 60 ideas for each album, but don't necessarily flesh them all out in to full songs. Brett told me this personally* at the launch for his second book.
*There were also other people there.
