Went to the baker's yesterday for a malt loaf. Had lots of cakes all priced at £1.75 and one at £2.00. I asked why the difference. He said that's madeira cake.

Running around the underhive, looking for my quarry to claim my bounty. Only played the first story mission, but it’s pretty good - looks very close to how I’d imagined a forgeworld hive to be, and plays very kinetically .

I trimmed my facial hair in a different way this morning. I trimmed the cheek and chin areas to a shorter length than the moustachioed area. I now look dangerously macho.

Anyone watched the Velvets documentary on Apple TV+ ? I have not seen this. I would like to. I’d like to see some early footage. There is some in YouTube… I read a Lou Reed biography last year. It was quite good. It had lots of what you’d want from a rock biography, including a deep analysis of Lou Reed’s collaboration with Metallica. ‘I think Metallica were the sound Lou had been hearing in his head all these years and trying to achieve’. That’s what Lars Ulrich says. Or words to this effect. |

Nightmare day; half my medication order is missing including essential dressings needed for Friday's treatment; and some tablets that stop my peptic ulcer exploderoising (spelling: ref Tids). FFS, staying alive is enough of a struggle. in my 3rd telephone queue. atm I doubt you will see me much today and if they don't get it right ....

He just flies in, lands, puts his hands on his hips and the bullets bounce off him? Or was that Superman Returns? I wasn’t keen on that one. I think Superman comes into his own when he’s brawling. |
