I haven’t watched any of the post-Reeve Superman films. As much as I like Henry Cavill, Christopher Reeve will always be Superman to me.

I wrote a wonderful post and then refreshed the page on accident and it was lost to time.
It involved cider, sleep, and no games.

Just made Boeuf Bourguignon for tomorrow's dinner.
Which is going to sit there and taunt me.

Morning Last night I watched the DC film 'Man of Steel'. I quite liked it. 4* OTTM, none Is that the film in which Superman doesn’t really fight? He just flies in, lands, puts his hands on his hips and the bullets bounce off him? Or was that Superman Returns? I wasn’t keen on that one. I think Superman comes into his own when he’s brawling. It was the one with Henry Cavill (looking as buff as a young Tuffers). It was a retelling of the original superman. From boy to man. Lots of fast flying and some sweet eye LASER action with a bit of fighting with Zod and his mates.

Chumbles - oof. Hope it gets sorted. Ganes: Just Crossing off the Animals, one by one. I put the 'night owl ordinance' in place as soon as that became an option, but all it's done is that I stay up later to play Animal Crossing and still not get to the shops in time. After taking up my extension pack job I haven't even shown up once for work. I expect the game to fire me pretty soon. But guess what? I'm still making a mint as a tarantula catcher and have millions in the bank. Does anyone care for the Game Awards this year (or any year)? I thought that the nominations were on the whole solid, though I still don't know any of the "content creators". I also very much appreciated the "and the EMMI goes to... Metroid Dread" joke that's making the rounds. The rules are still as opaque as always. So, neither Dark Souls nor the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles were eligible because they were remasters/ports, but old content did not stop Mario Party Superstars and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury from getting nominated. I suppose that's because the category in question is Best MarioFamily Games. And quite what Cyberpunk 2077 is doing in the Best RPG category apart from taking up a slot that should have gone to Bravely Default II nobody knows. Last night I also caught the news of the Wall Street Journal revelations about Bobby Kotick. To say that it wasn't a surprise is an understatement, although it's always surprising how brazen these people are. Kot in German means "excrement", and Bobby has apparently no trouble living up to his name. If the Board of Directors is looking for a new CEO, I personally have never uttered any death threats to employees and would do the job for a fraction of the current CEO's remuneration. OTTM: I was interested to see the interview with the owner of the Damascena cafes on the impact of the EU worker shortage www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2021/nov/17/i-dont-blame-customers-for-getting-annoyed-a-coffee-house-owner-on-life-without-eu-workersI'm sorry to hear about the struggle to recruit and staff getting stressed out. Love the Damascena and can warmly recommend them. As an EU citizen I wish I could help, but I'm currently waiting for a phone call from Activision Blizzard.

I see the usual dipshits are out and about btl of the "30" review.
What is about some other place readers that when anything vaguely popular is reviewed/covered they jump in and:
1. Say how bland and boring it is. 2. Show/musician/film is sooo much better. 3. They can't sing/act/direct anyway. 4. Humorous comments about the subject. 5. and the great, "I remember..."
Wankers.

Morning Everyone. Hope it improves Chumbles. Felice, what's the vegetarian option for me? Lunch: Nothing. Poor planning. The same but with the beef and lardons removed and I guess the wine as the beef was marinated in it, also the onions and carrots as they were with the beef, the mushrooms were fried in the fat rendered from the lardons and I used beef consommé as stock. So maybe a bay leaf?

Though I still have a good amount of Walkers stashed away. Err, I mean, the great crisps drought has nothing to do with me. I've said too much.

Is Adele the one who did the umbrella song? She's OK I guess.
Music was much better in my day though, we had Oasis, Blur and Menswear.

I don't mind a bit of Adele and Tay-Tay when I occasionally relinquish control of the car sound system to get a short break from the exhaustingly intellectual bleeding-edge stuff I'm into. They are definitely a cut above a lot of the other stuff the youths make me listen to.
I also listened to a profile of Adele on Radio 4 where they reported that she is a maverick because at the Brit School she liked the Spice Girls while all her classmates were into 1930s jazz.
