Thanks for the kind words. The voluntary offer is basically compulsory but over by the end of the year with notice paid upfront.
Early in Jan I assume a business review will start and move to compulsory redundancies.
My quality of chat may suffer in the meantime*

7/14. I've got the car back, all good. Might get them to fix the window, might not. That's all I got. Was it the brakes? No idea. They checked the suspension, steering, stripped down and inspected all the brakes for £78 sobs. My current thinking is that a stone got trapped in a front caliper - one of which had a suspiciously deep groove in it, but I'll never know. They don't either.
But they were very knowledgable about auto-electrics. It was like being hit by an encyclopedia in the bonce when I asked about the window.
Also, I pushed a button in the car I've never pushed before. Scenes.

scamander what a lovely early Christmas present from your new boss. Ba⭐d. I can offer very little except to echo Gongfarmer's advice of turning to your union if you are a member. From personal experience, union membership really saves the day and I would urge everyone to become a member immediately. Hope it turns into an opportunity to get a better job.

Hi,
I played Halo Infinite MP last night just to try it out. I had a good time.
No one was talking, it was pretty easy to get quick play games without any server issues.
I even made it into positive K/D ratio after an hour of getting murdered.
Would recommend.
