I ring the Surgery precisely 8 a.m. "You are 27th in the queue. Please hold the line, your call is important to us..." Yeah, right. Waiting in the phone queue for the surgery so that I can try and blag some broad spectrum antibiotics. I get through... "What seems to be the problem Chumbles?" "I have an abscess; there's a swelling by my nose and I need antibiotics." "Have you been to the dentist" "I'm housebound and no dentist will do anything whilst it's still infected." "Can you hold the line please?" Time passes... "Please call 0300 3112233" She hangs up. It's the contact number for the SE of England dental services. Effectively they are Find-a-Dentist. It's going to be a ring round referral chain, isn't it? If they do send one out, I just hope they don't send someone like Steve Martin out of the Little Shop of Horrors... |

Gaming night went badly and we just fell short of winning in both in Fortnite and PUBG.
Also PM is home for the third day in a row as she has the snuffles and rang in sick.

Gaming night went badly as a mammal sat on the sofa talking for ages and wouldn't go to bed. Finally got on well after midnight, by which time my regular duo Albatross had left. I played one solo game of Fortnite, which I won.
