Millwall isn't what it used to be. The police even let us share trains back to London Bridge so we spent less time standing in the cod sulking. In recent years the only people i've seen playing up there were my people. The first time I went there it was pretty bad. Especially considering there were only 4,500 there for a League Cup Second round tie. We had a full Met escort to the station. Two lines of vans turtling with a couple of hundred fans protected by them. There were two significant attempts to attack us on the short walk to the station. Fortunately the Met were well prepared.
I mean they are what they are. There were still hundreds of police there. At least as many as for West Ham v Chelsea i'd guess. The Den is not yet the family friendly place that say Brighton is. And it is a bit odd to move from the police zone to the civilian zone at London Bridge.
On the other hand I grew up in the 1980s. I like a little football with my aggro. Not actual fighting, but a bit of posing occasionally is fine by me.

No toothache. But legs were bad last night. I don't want to get up. *sigh* No choice though - chores must be done... Thank ghods that I don't have to muck about with Xmas decorations.

So last weekend I scraped snow from the car windows. The scraper is now missing.
Obviously I've *deliberately* done something with it as I want to piss off the PM on a Sunday morning. It's the only rational possibility.
"it can't be in the house, you cleaned the house on Friday. Unless of course you didn't do a very good job..." mic drop, BOOM! Right in the kisser.
Morning! No Games, Bit of Die Hard, bit of a Francois K DJ mix.

Is the Millwall approach to hate and fight everybody? I don't think I can get on board with that at all. I prefer a more focused ideology where you despise specific groups of fans for petty reasons of history and geography, ideally largely made up.

I never really understood the Palace Brighton rivalry given the distance between the two clubs.
Apparently it stems from events that occurred in the mid-1970s between Terry Venables, then-Palace manager, and Alan Mullery, then-manager of Brighton.
Whodda thunk it.

More Vikings, did anyone watch the superman thing on BBC? Dancing seems to be dropping people episode last night.

Morning
Brekkers blog: two slices of black pudding, fried egg, slice of toast.
The clan have gone out so I am going to play games then make a chilli.
Footy rivals. Why can't everyone just get along? Except Leeds, everyone hates Leeds.

Afternoon.
I played Back4Blood last night with randoms, in preparation for...Hellbound. Only 30 minutes of the last episode to go.
I also stuffed myself with much food & booze.

Leeds: Arch proponents of the professional foul. In the 60s and 70s they were hated, especially by Chelsea and Arsenal; Don Revie "as Leeds manager he was criticised for the physical and often negative approach of his teams". Bastards. This is advice that all anti-vaxxers should heed.

If I take the tracking chips out how will they be able to find me if I get lost?

Are these the same people who always have their phones on them so they can post about conspiracies? There would be no way to track them if that was the case. Wheel number 5, no idea how it relates to the books anymore.

I actually dislike West Ham more than Millwall. I think it's the claret and blue. They are the same sort of cockney cunt as Millwall, but with nastier colours.
Their fans are proper charmers as well. I always felt it was an adventure going to the Charles Dickens Memorial stadium for waifs and strays. The Olympic stadium isn't much better.

About 25 years ago I was at Aberdeen vs Torino in the UEFA Cup. About 5 minutes into the game, the Torino fans unfolded an absolutely enormous banner which said, in English, 'Fuck Juventus'. I have no strong opinion about Juventus, but I found it very moving.

Hello. I have just sent an email to Father Christmas. And now we wait. I watched more of Jurassic in the Park: Camp Creatures. I need to urgently switch to spoiler mode. They have E.M.M.I.s in Camp Cretaceous! They are called B.R.A.D. (Bio-Robotic Assistance Droid), but they behave and look extremely similar to the Extraplanetary Multiform Mobile Identifier = E.M.M.I. in Metroid Dread. (They dropped the ball with that name, should have been "Bio-Robotic Assistance 'Tronics" to get BRATz.) Although it's easier to get rid of an annoying BRAD than an equally annoying EMMI.
It's clear that it's a complete coincidence, or maybe there was something in the water. Granted, the BRADs fire dodgeable missiles at teenagers rather than impaling them like the EMMIs, but I suppose that would be a bit too much for the PG rating.

Hello. I'm currently making Turkey Chilli con Cranky whilst skanking round the kitchen to Luke Unabombers Fri radio show on Worldwide FM.
The PM's maw went with her in the car this morning to take the child to Gymnastics. I managed a 30 min gaming hour on the PS4.
A discord bot informed me shop.to had ps5's in today. From being told to me noticing was about 3 mins. Straight over to the site "you're in a queue..."
No dice.

Top 5 Things Crank sucks the joy out of: 1) Putting up Christmas Trees 2) Buying a PS5 3 - 5) Writing Top 5 Lists where he's failed to inspire me to think of more than 2 items.

FYI Kane is a West Ham fan - (although he's only ever been to one match) and has followed them for at least 35 years (at a distance because he's crowd-o-phobic). And thank you kind Sir for saying I'm charming, very decent of you.. FYI FYI I once worked security at the freight terminal on a site where the stadium is now.. end
