Windy and wet, same as outside... spent forever doing chores whilst trying to sort out house insurance (how can they make a profit sending so much paper?), and my SGM LV vote...

Pretty upsetting ...
The worst part of it is that, if I tell anyone, they'll think it's because I've been busting Jordan Peterson style content. But I haven't!
Locked in a world of shame for something I didn't do. I'll be forced to turn to Jordan Peterson as a last resort.

Hello.
FRANK is FRANKing English Pint Legend so fast these days that I'm convinced he has a dedicated button.
Like Shenguin I fell asleep on the sofa last night, only in my case it was whilst playing Animal Crossing and watching another Trails in the Sky playthrough that had started at 8 p.m. When I woke up it was quarter to two in the morning, the stream was still ongoing, and I had no idea what was going on in the game because clearly I had slept through some significant story beats. Apparently the streamer had unwittingly started a major new chapter and was trying to find a point where he could stop the stream, with little success. He was supposed to record a lengthy YouTube video right after the stream and hadn't eaten anything. I will need to have another look at the recording, figure out where I dozed off, and watch the rest.
As I had been in the middle of building a school in Animal Crossing I had to finish the project in the middle of the night before I was able to go to bed. Then had to get up after only a few meagre hours of sleep because I had an Ocado delivery in the morning.
All I can say is that I think it's a very nice school.

I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about with Jordan Peterson? I mean, I don't really know much about him, but YouTube keeps pushing clips of him at me for some reason. He just seems to talk about how people should try to find some sort of purpose in the chaos of life. I don't understand why he does it in a kermit the frog voice, but maybe that's just his USP

I think the issue with JP is that he is an alt right ideologue who disguises polemical positions by presenting them like academic research points, and gets away with it becausehe is a professor. I read through his 12 rules for life book and it was like 9 uncontroversial self help style chapters mixed in with 3 weird alt right talking points presented as if they were uncontroversial self help chapters. Mind you, he seems pretty tame now that we are in the age of proper nut jobs like Trump (for whom JP was an apologist). I get enough strangeness reading the 'box, without reading / listening to Jordan Peterson and / or other 'gurus'! If I feel down I either fall asleep* or consult Ozymandias Kane... the latter always cheers me up. I think that I need a nap * I call it my sloth response the sleep or sleep mechanism |
