You also need to wrap a bit of paper round the half brick, with *parse this* written on it. Undoubtedly what a young Tuffers would have done.

Most of all, he inspired in us a love of poetry -- a group of us used to meet in secret to read poetry together, especially Walt Whitman. You went to school with Walt Whitman?

Come to think of it, there was one teacher who encouraged us to use his first name, but he subsequently turned out to be a right old wrong'un. sandybahookie will probably know who that was since iirc we were educated at the same institution. Alan....shudder The Apprentice guy?

Our school wasn't really so great. Aston was maybe a bit rough, so at the end of the day the school buses would pick everyone up and drive them through the area, and you had all the local school kids jeering and throwing things at the windows. Then on the inside of the buses you had all the grammar school kids jeering back out again. A bad scene. One of Theresa May's advisors was a pupil at the school (in a lower year). He later described the school as 'transformational'. I think he was maybe a bit of a plum. Ah, so Sheep was right about Aston? In that case you were not at the same school as my Pref. Mam. I can reassure Sheep that he was a Birmingham City boy, even if he had to commute from Michigan.

Felice Landry here's mine. Could be worse. Tbf, I wasn't necessary awake during any of these hours. Edit: I only just saw that I'm a "top active player" for Animal Crossing. Badge of honour or badge of shame? How many of us are out there? Any chance of therapy?

He once got run over by a car on his way to school. The bicycle was a write-off, but luckily he was okay. I quote: "I was fat at the time, so I bounced off the hood."

Morning all. SkyrimChat. Playing on a more difficult level ups the brutality of random encounters. I'm finding new ways of being killed by bandits and wildlife whilst minding my own business. The new farm you can get is very much worth it. Skyrim chat: I usually play on the highest difficulty, which means being one hit kills by mud crabs, and avoiding bandits, early on. Which version of the game are you playing? 'cus I need a farm on my next play through, the homestead locations are the nearest but they are just veg patches with a high gold cost.

Morning…. Has today been school confessions day? Where do I even start. You don't know about me, without you have read about my time at school, but that ain't no matter. I didn't rightly like my schooling at first, and then when I came to like it more, an unfortunate turn of events led to my own Papa kidnapping me. I should rightly swear that it was the trigger for just about the best darned adventure I had in my life, but that's another story. As far as school goes, I didn't like the idea of going back, so after I had escaped from my Papa, and a few more capers besides, I set my mind right on not going back to school or my old life. This is about a there is to say on the matter, I didn't go back to school again; I been there before.

Was King Edwards the posho school near the Guild?
Not that I cared, I was too busy banging hot chicks in the great hall, or riding my sweet hog around the vale.

Yes. The school over the road from Birmingham uni. Well boys and girls schools. There's another 6 around the city as well now. The two Edgbaston schools are fee paying. The rest are grammar schools, but owned by the KES Foundation. They also own much of Edgbaston and Harborne. It's very posh now.

The harborne run.
*shudder*
I never did it properly. I remember the green man. Nothing else. Probably all I saw tbh.
Selly oak (ovt) or the guild mainly, or broad street. Also a big pub at five ways on Sunday just because it did offers. Over to Tesco for value grub then home. Then they tarted it up at brindley near the canal in the last year or so I think.
Ah, balls, wish I was 18 again. Sob.

I went to the OVT a few times in the last couple of years at school. Mainly as the Gunbarrels was occupied by our teachers at lunchtime so was verboten. Most of my drinking was in the city centre or around Sutton.

Memory lane.
A few other random places that pop into the mind. All for student nights obvs, don't want a beating up from the locals.
Bobby browns (near broad st?) Tressines (sp) (?) Shapla balti house (about 5 doors down from the ovt)
It's probably all fields and nature now.
