Bit of a mad place with everyone doing massive Christmas shits in Morrisons earlier, is isolation soon going to be for just an afternoon rather than any length of time to stop infections? No Christmas lockdown still but jan doesn’t look good.

Morning Everyone!
I had a shit this morning, but I just did it in the toilet, and then flushed it away. Now I'm worried I'm doing it wrong.

If it's brown, flush it down, If it's poo, down the loo, If it's wee, drink more water, If it's yellow, let it mellow.
If it's red, then you have bled, You need to see a man with an -ology, Preferably the one they call proctology Spread your legs, as a rule of thumb, He'll stick his finger up your bum. It's a good idea if it's your prostate, Get it done, or you'll be prostrate.

Cricket: Andy Zaltsman's column on the Beeb website analyses just how awful England's performance Down Under has been. They are addicted to failure. Like addicts, they are in denial - until they take responsibility for their failures, they won't get better. Now the bowling unit have become infected by the batters fragility (with the exception of Root). It will take someone with honesty, guts and strength of character to get through to them just how badly they are playing. Root has guts, but he is never really honest with himself and I think lacks man management skills. On an overseas tour, the coach and captain need to be in control. The team are paid to perform to the best of their ability, not to behave like a bunch of peevish schoolboys. Above all, the guy who should be laying down the law, instilling discipline, and guiding the captain has been woefully incompetent. Silverwood must go. Flowers would never have let things get this far out of hand.

Evening all.
I went for a drive earlier to deliver a birthday present to someone. Nobody can drive properly today (other than me, obvs). What the bally heck is wrong with people?
I took the long route home to get away from the worst of the coast-road traffic. On the way, I saw a Skoda Enyaq, was followed by another ID.3 (a smokey-blue colour), and saw the usual brace of Teslas - they’re taking over, these EVs.

The PM and child have headed to the in-laws for Christmas. I'm about to do the bins. The comfy chair is now turned round facing the telly. AC Vikings is downloading. There are a couple of beers in the fridge and I've been told I can work from home tomorrow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Chumhles* Did you ever watch a 1970s BBC series called Survivors? If so was it any good? * or anyone. I think Chumbles is probably the best bet to have seen it. Then Destry. I don't think it has been repeated. This www.imdb.com/title/tt0072572/Whatever you do do not Google Survivors. Seriously. The results are disturbing and not what you want.

Have you checked Britbox, Sheep? That might be a possibility I wanted a review of it. I know how to get hold of it.. Legit as well. I've just spent hours sorting some Neil Young bootlegs. I do know the Crankcaller way as well.

Have you checked Britbox, Sheep? That might be a possibility The Internet says Survivors was filmed in Herefordshire, silcox. Would you say it's a good stand in for a post apocalyptic wasteland?

Sheep2I do vaguely recall Survivors, but can't honestly remember much about it, so am not able to give an opinion, least of all a review.

I've got a feeling there was a Survivors remake in the late 2000s.
I think I liked it.
Can't imagine there'd be much to not like about a 1970s original.

Sheep2 - I half remember it; sadly, when it was aired I was in shared accommodation and was either down the pub, or my fellow housemates weren't into SF. I do remember not being entirely convinced by some of the acting... Ediy: They have republished Nation's book

I've been to Gloucester services on the M6. Looks like a bunker and the petrol is the same price as gold. Definite Mad Max vibes.

I hope tenthenemy's ok.
I'm imagining a kind of 'Trains, Planes and Automobiles', or 'Clockwise' scenario. Well - one of the two scenarios.
