Chumhles* Did you ever watch a 1970s BBC series called Survivors? If so was it any good? * or anyone. I think Chumbles is probably the best bet to have seen it. Then Destry. I don't think it has been repeated. This www.imdb.com/title/tt0072572/Whatever you do do not Google Survivors. Seriously. The results are disturbing and not what you want. It's at least partially on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=zAyjkaFYnzEA friend recommended it and sent me the link recently. I haven't watched any of it yet.

I've been to Gloucester services on the M6. Looks like a bunker and the petrol is the same price as gold. Definite Mad Max vibes. Pop down the bus station in the town centre. You'll be fighting to the death over a tin of beans in no time at all

The M6 runs from Rugby to the Scottish border or from the Scottish border to Rugby if you prefer Gloucester services is the posh one. Run by the same people who run Tebay. It's ok. If you are desperate to get rid of all of your money.

To everyone.
Thank you for the help. I am somewhat grateful. I'd be more grateful if someone had properly seen it. Also if I hadn't done a Google search for Survivors.

Also I really don't like people who record bootlegs as one giant FLAC file. I want the individual tracks separated. Preferably named as well. A 400 MB file that lasts 2 hours is just annoying. Especially if it is just Like Hurricane or Cortez The Killer played for the whole time.
It's unacceptably lazy not to split the tracks. If I am downloading stuff without paying for it I expect it to he professionally recorded.

Does the giant flac file have a .cue sheet with it? Some media players will display the names of the tracks if it does. Neil Young bootlegs are feedback tastic.

I've just remembered you have a streamer/amp thing I lusted after and you're probably playing from that.

Gloucester services is weird. Far too nice for a service station. It also has artificial grass on the roof. I don't know why.

I've just remembered you have a streamer/amp thing I lusted after and you're probably playing from that. The Cambridge 851. No. Well not yet. Once the tracks are sorted. There are lots of bootlegs. Some of them are live with Crazy Horse. There is a lot of feedback on some. That is the authentic sound. Some are acoustic concerts without feedback. There are also some compilations of unreleased or hard to find tracks. It was one of those that had two hours of undifferentiated stuff on it. I've also got official live stuff with an excess of feedback. Arc in particular is a tremendous disc if you want a headache.

Drinking Xmas booze.
Where will the chatterbox's degeneration into savagery end?

Drinking Xmas booze. Where will the chatterbox's degeneration into savagery end? Cans of Sipsmith's gin and tonic, interspersed with small glasses of port, at high tide, in the dark. There were six of us. We didn't have sex.

Yes you are right - M5 it is. When I do that drive for my summer holidays I do both together, so it all blends into one.

I like Cortez the Killer. It’s a great song, but …
I mean I know Neil Young’s an artist, not a historian, but …
It would have been nice if he’d tried to get a handle on the facts.

The ideal 'boxer's present That’s an awful present. I wouldn’t even re-gift. I’d perform an act of fly-tipping.

There's not much doubt that Neil Young orientalised the shit out of Montezuma. But do we know for a fact that he didn't lie around on beaches with coca leaves and pearls?

I’m watching Die Hard.
You can’t call it a Christmas film. It doesn’t even feel Christmassy. The only Christmassy parts of it are the decorations.
I think Aliens is more Christmassy. It’s set in a midwintery clime and it’s full off camaraderie. Insane levels of camararderie.

Fifth Gear appear to have gone full-EV. Interesting… Ah, well, young Scamipal. If you watch Top Gear Season 1, ep.9, they have a road test and review of the Scubaru about half-way through.
Your welcome (from 2002).
ps. Same colours as mine.
