Morning all,
Saw the brief mention of gonorrhoea in yesterday's chat. If you ever wondered what STIs they had in antiquity I did a podcast on it.....
Games
Picked up X-Com Enemy Within, bought it ages ago and never really played it much. Who'd have thought someone with little patience and thought would do so badly in a game where such criteria are cornerstones of the gameplay?
Have many played it on here? Seem to remember it being mentioned in the other place.

I really need to get my TV set up, so I can get back to real non nerdy games like Skyrim and the Witcher.

Assisted by most of a bottle of mediocre Cotes du Rhône and a very large glass of bourbon I finally dragged myself into the current decade and subscribed to a popular music streaming service.

If you want help in getting the internet disconnected there is some Birmingham City themed Grime available. It is exactly as good as it you'd imagine. Maybe even better. You should check out the Blackpool scene. 10:50 from that video is probably the most surreal section where the 12 year old white kid is apologetic for using the 'N' word then his mum says it's not racist because she's got coloured kids and asks if people would be upset "if Stormzy said it". |

Morning all. Boiling water on the hob til I can get out and buy a new kettle.
Haven't poked the Playstations today. I've unplugged them and am letting them sleep... at least until the electrics don't trip anymore.
Working from home again, and I've got TNG playing on the Mac behind my work laptop. You're all very jealous, I'm sure.
