Hi
I played Fortnite tonight. Well last night.
It’s now 1:27am.
We won a Trio match, then I played PUBG (Casual Mode) in another trio match and we won that (though I was only spectating at the end). Then I played Duos in Fortnite and we won three of those.
Then I bought a new Fortnite Battle Pass.
Why? Why?
I wanted to get enough V-Bucks to buy a Boba Fett rocket pack.
Ah Lord…

Well my move to Windows 11 has finally had problems. The mic on my headset would not work, tried every workaround I knew but nothing would solve it. I rolled back to W10 and hey presto, the mic worked fine.

Morning!
Games: Prey. I like this game. Strong sense of place, a bit Deus Ex-y, tense but not too scary. 4 stars.
Telly: Succession nearlyat the end of s2. It's quite good. Very watchable. Even the episode filmed in Dundee. 4 stars.
Ottm: while packing the car this morning for a 6 hour drive to visit the outlaws, received word that one of them has tested positive for covid. Hand wringing and recriminations abound. Classic Christmas. 4 stars.

The graun Australia went on about a word game the other day that lets you show how you don’t get it right, I think it’s wordle.
Has anyone else been getting the free epic pc games, control and prey have both been free.
