Boy went out for a play over his friend’s house, so I had a good hour and a half of warhermitry. Finally have my Space Marines’ armour looking how it should.

Christ, I'm bored of being in isolation. I mean, I wouldn't be, if I were isolated. But there are other humans in my house, using my TV, taking up space, breathing out Covid, leaving sweet wrappers on the floor, not washing up, making noise. Some of the noises they make are like "No, I don't want to watch Survivors. It's shit and not suitable for a 7y-o" and "Jesus will you please shut the fucking bathroom door" and "Yes, I know you're not Jesus, I was using as an expletive you dumbfuck" and so on and suchlike and so forth.
I'm in the garden listening to Leonard Cohen (lossless, ripped from CD, through a Bluetooth player, rendering the lossless format pointless) and contemplating a glass of wine.

The 7y-o is the only human in our house without Covid. Earlier I tried to convince her she was ill with it so I could drive her for a PCR, so I had a legal excuse to leave the house.
She was unconvinced.

Does having a positive covid test get you out of taking down the Xmas decorations? If so, can I arrange one between taking down the loft ladder and getting the decorations boxes down.

Hello. Bit of AC Valhalla last night. Wandering about some island stealing stuff and killing other Vikings. Couple of episodes of the Harlan Coben thing.
Horrid out, but not snow so there is that. Arguing with someone on eBay as they bought something from me on Dec 23rd. I told them I wouldn't get in the post till after new year - "No rush"
Apparently now there is a rush and they don't believe me when I Introduced Public Holidays into the argument.
