First batch of pasta sauce of 2022 being made. Soundtracked by a DJ Harvey mix.
Hopefully more Valhalla later.
Still to complete Wordle. Abandoned it at three rows. Not done the quiz.
{Edit1} Shakes fist at Wordle. Slaps himself Wordle 198 5/6

What do they mean, do I remember the plot of Love Actually? I've never seen it in the first place.
(Should have guessed the answer, but that's beside the point.)
Same for the Bond question. What is this, a film quiz disguised as a geography exam? Boo.

I should also be setting up a workstation for tomorrow, but I have an early appointment with the eyeball-stabber for a pre op assessment. For once, I might almost prefer to be at work. Good luck! I know of several people who had ye olde cataracts removed, including my mother, my PM, and a friend who paid a lot of money going private so that he could have corrective lenses instead of the plain NHS ones and is now more eagle eyed than he ever was in his youth. All of them reported good results post eyeball stabbing. My PM had to undergo very complex eye surgery because the cataracts were only a minor nuisance in the grand scheme of things. (He had a detached retina in one eye that they tried to glue back. He then needed a second operation after it promptly fell off again.) So I spent many happy hours in the eyeball stabbing place, watching people going into and coming out of surgery. Fingers crossed, but people in the eyeball stabbing business in my experience are pretty good at it.

If you can get referred to Moorfields Eye Hospital or one of it's ' networked sites' that would be good... sadly, my eye problems are inoperable - I have been a cyclops since birth. The consultant thought I'd had a knock on my head when I was young and soft-headed...

I just cooked a paneer jalfrezi. It all went so well, but at the end - I had over-salted. Ahhheeuurgh….

I like to imagine Mr Bronson's face superimposed on that gif. A Bronson palimpsest. Bronson on Bronson action. It works for me.

Hmmm...the Upload Avatar link is not working. EDIT: I guess I'll have to settle for this atm. Could be worse. If you upload it to imgur and select Direct Link to copy that address and paste it into the link bit you'll get an address with a redundant v on the end, like this... just remove the v and it will work i.imgur.com/O98VFJY.gifv
